Satire page is a mess. Can you help? Someone rewrote it @ Nov. 13 and has no idea what he's talking about. I think he may be the one who started the page. I've been in discussion with him for a few days, but he contradicts himself. I'd like to revrt it to what it was Nov 12 or so, but i don't know how. He may leave it if we revert. I have not been too confrontational and tried win him over a bit. He says satire is subtle, and that its not, drops names and gives no explanations. When I pointed this out he thanked me?! He didn't realize? Anyway, its a little wierd and frustrating. I wrote the "Meno" page. Have a look when you get a chance. I hope you are having a good semester, my young friend.Brenda maverick 12:05, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
I got the wrong week, of course. The dates in my note is wrong. The satire page botch job took place on Nov. 6 or so. Brenda maverick 12:11, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Hello Dylan,
I only started using Wikipedia, and I thought I could add a little humour to the site. I am sorry, and I won't do it again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.50.36.79 (talk • contribs)

Please stop the GNU search and replace
The text GNU/Linux currently points to a redirect. Your current search-and-replace activities violate WP policy (I won't dig out the rule just yet). Please find a better use for your energy. Gronky 11:43, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
Just to explain more nicely: please see Wikipedia:Redirects#Don't fix links to redirects that aren't broken. Thanks! Fut.Perf. ☼ 12:33, 28 November 2006 (UTC)My apologies, didn't look closely enough - what you did was perfectly reasonable. Fut.Perf. ☼ 12:36, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- Hi. FYI, I didn't see that "GNU/Linux" had been turned into a dab page, so when I saw your string of edits, I thought you were doing something political so I asked the admins for whether the string of edits should be rolled back or what to do. They pointed out my mistake. I expect that GNU/Linux will return to permenantly being a redirect soon. So your activies did not violate WP policy, sorry about my mistake. Weird
Look up vandalism in the dictionary. I just made a comment about how Arnie might seem shorter now than in the past because of spinal constriction with age. If you're not smart enough to understand that, that's not my problem. I'm no wikipedian (i.e. loser) and I don't give a damn whether the article keeps my addition or not, but don't be a prick and call me a vandal.
Have a nice day. :) (A reply is not necessary, since I will not be visiting this site any time soon) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.132.23.138 (talk • contribs)

Concordia Newsletter
Concordia is currently trying to relaunch. I, and all the members of the ex-council, wish to welcome new members to the group. We are a group who aim to promote remaining civil, in an environment where messages can easily be interpretated wrongly.
Help out now!
- Try and help people remain civil! Talk to them, and help them in any way possible. Do not be afraid to use the talk page.
- Give people the Civility Barnstar.
- Make and spread some Wikitokens so people know there are people to help if they want assistance.
- Add banners or logos to your userpage to show your support.
- Suggest some ideas! Add 'em to the talk page.
We are a community, so can only work though community contributions and support. It's the helping that counts.
Decision Making
The council expired one month ago, but due to the current position of the group the current council will remain until the position of the group can be assessed, and whether it would be sensible to keep Concordia going. For most decisions, however, it will be decided by all who choose to partake in discussions. I am trying to relaunch because of the vast amounts of new members we have received, demonstrating that the aims are supported.
If you wish to opt of of further talk-page communications, just let us know here.

Hi,
You have put yourself as interested in helping out atWikiProject on user warnings. We are now at a stage where we are creating the new templates and are wondering if you are still interested? If so please visit the overview page and choose a warning type you wish to work on. There is a base template available here, which you can copy and use to get you started. Have a look through the redirects and see what old templates are affected and incorporate them into the the new system. Anyway, any questions please don't hesitate to give me a shout. Regards Khukri (talk . contribs) 08:43, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
Sorry About Grandmas Boy
I was trying to make the article be a redirect to the movie Grandma's Boy, because when I put in Grandmas Boy (No Apostrophe), it wouldn't let me do it. If you could tell me how and/or do it for me it would greatly be appreciated. Once again sorry about that. I am still learning Wikipedia.
And one last question, is there a way I can automatically revert an article? Or do I have to do it manually?

- There is a button in the editing toolbar marked "#R" that you can use for redirects. See Help:Redirect. For reverting edits I recommend Lupin's navigational popups although there are many alternatives (see User Scripts). —Dylan Lake 01:50, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi,
You are down as a member of the WikiProject on user warning layout standardisation. I and a number of editors for the last couple of months have been working on the harmonisation of the current warning message templates, at WP:UW. I have spoken to a couple of other members of your project, and I would like to merge it and it's talk pages with ours. If you still have interest in the project or would like to participate or have any thoughts on the combined projects please let me know. Any other problems don't hesitate to give me a shout. Revert
You reverted my revert on Stupid Evil Bastard. The line I removed had been added in as vandalism: SEB has never to my knowledge used such a tagline (I have been a regular reader and contributor for 2 years), and most certainly never as a main tagline. And thus you added vandalism back in. I have now removed it again. MadMaxDog 07:21, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Simple_Labarum.svg
I have no idea where to add this in amongst the tables of contents which seem to fill up the lower half of this page, but Commons:Image:Simple Labarum.svg is not a direct replacement for Commons:Image:Simple Labarum.gif -- the lines in the SVG version are significantly more erratic and wavering than the GIF. Notably, Commons user Aethralis refrained from claiming that his SVG superseded the GIF, so why are you going beyond him/her?

WP:UW future?
Hi, Sorry for the blatant spam, but you have yourself down as interested at WikiProject user warnings WP:UW. There is a discussion on going here that might be of interest to you about the future of this project. There are two strawpolls on the talk pages and the second one is about the future of the WP:UW project. Now we have the end in sight we are looking at wrapping up the project and merging it with Template messages/User talk namespace WP:UTM and creating a one stop shop for all userspace template issue. As you have yourself down as interested in this project we thought you may have some input on this issue, and would like you to visit the discussion and give any thoughts you may have on the matter.
