[edit]Hello, I'm SK2242. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, British Rail Class 37, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. SK2242 (talk) 08:02, 2 February 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at British Rail Class 43 (HST), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. SK2242 (talk) 15:07, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
- Please also note that communication is required. Editors who don't may be blocked from editing articles or sitewide. SK2242 (talk) 15:20, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
Hi, I am sorry to have not added a reliable resource however: Information I have added and corrected is based on what is known in the rail community through photos, observations, what the workers of the companies have said etc. There is no "Reliable Resource" that I can find that I believe would qualify but as a result of Wikipedias terms the information is out dated and incorrect. And as no one can add a "Reliable Resource" that is considered to be valid by those reviewing the edits it'll likely forever be incorrect. 43045 has had colas branding on for months and been paired with 43060 (another colas HST power car) and 43299 has had network rail branding and been running with 43062 for 2 weeks. And for some of the information I changed even where a reliable resource was available it wouldn't let me add it. The Wikipedia system clearly isn't up for the job. - Original research isn’t allowed because it is not verifiable. Content on Wikipedia articles are a summarisation of published content found in reliable sources. See verifiability, not truth. There are many reliable railway magazines (as well as general news outlets) you can source information from. If your information can’t be found in one of those sources, it can’t be added here because Wikipedia is not a primary source for information. SK2242 (talk) 16:19, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
