Bye count on chess world cup

[edit]

Hey, you added numbers to the byes on both 2021 chess world cup pages, but they do not match up with those listed in the actual tournament tree: https://worldcup-results.fide.com/results. From what I can tell, the bye number should be equal to the player's seed. — WardMuylaert (talk) 08:08, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok I noted Kaustubhkul (talk) 18:33, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Vladislav Kovalev's flag

[edit]

Hello! You're editing a Chess World Cup 2021 page by returning Belarusian flag for player Vladislav Kovalev. But, you should notice that Vladislav Kovalev is playing under FIDE flag, so it's incorrect: https://ratings.fide.com/profile/13504398

Because I don't know that Kaustubhkul (talk) 18:35, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your unsystematic edits at Women's Chess World Cup 2021

[edit]

Hi – I appreciate that you spent time entering results of Day 2 of Round 2 in Women's Chess World Cup 2021. However, your edits were very unsystematic and caused a lot of extra work. I would have spent a lot less time entering all the results myself than I did cleaning up after your edits. Sometimes you only advanced a player to the next round without entering their result; sometimes you entered the result but failed to boldface the winner and their score; sometimes you boldfaced the winner but not their score. I also couldn't discern any method in which results you chose to work on and which not. As a result, I had to go through everything you did and fix it, and then also add the missing results. It's great that you want to contribute to updating the results, but please, if you do so, make sure you do it properly so that it adds value to the site instead of generating extra work for others. Joriki (talk) 18:52, 16 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My phone battery is low on that time so I can edit on next day but so sorry for that Kaustubhkul (talk) 18:35, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited India national cricket team, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Nick Webb and Rajeev Kumar. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:58, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup squads

[edit]

Hi. Please do not add these sections until each squad is announced. The blank sections are pointless and are of no use. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 11:08, 6 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. You continue to edit-war and edit against consensus. If you keep adding blank sections to this page, you will face being blocked for disruption. I recommend you stop this now. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 17:00, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Cricket World Cup

[edit]

And please STOP adding incorrect and/or unsourced content to the Cricket World Cup pages. Please see this on why Scotland have not yet qualified. If you continue adding incorrect info, it will be viewed as disruption, which can lead to you being blocked. Please reply here to state you have read and understood this. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 17:39, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sri lanka also not qualified Kaustubhkul (talk) 17:43, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes they have. They have 4 points. Even if they lose against the Netherlands, they would still have 4 points. The winner of Nam/Ire will also go to four points and advance with them. Net run-rate does not come into it for this group. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 17:49, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The same come for Scotland they have 4 points if they lose the they also have 4 points so that means they have qualified Kaustubhkul (talk) 07:53, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If Scotland loses, Oman will have 4 points. And if Bangladesh wins the other match they will also have 4 points. Scotland can be eliminated by NRR. Human (talk) 08:03, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

And Sri Lanka also not tops the group A so wait for 22 October Kaustubhkul (talk) 08:03, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong again. See this (right at the bottom): "If Sri Lanka and Bangladesh qualify from the first round, they will retain the seedings of A1 and B1 respectively for the Super 12s" Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 09:24, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning of disruption

[edit]

Please DO NOT edit my userpage or talkpage again. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 13:38, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Why daar lagta hai I have edited same first and then you remove and edited same again Kaustubhkul (talk) 13:39, 21 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well you keep adding incorrect/unsourced information, or other pointless disruption like setting the image size randomly. Unless you actually know what you're doing, and is actually correct and beneficial, please stop. Joseph2302 (talk) 18:30, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:G20 Logo India.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Tol (talk | contribs) @ 16:42, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
