smartplanetcms - speedily deleted from Wikipedia

Hi, I'm not sure what is the problem with article SmartPlanetCMS. if you check the article Conquestcms, ExpressionEngine and etc that listed in Comparison_of_content_management_systems, there are basically the same. What these article do is only give some introductory on the system. It's just like introduction to SQL Server. Please let me know your thought. Thanks

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to SmartPlanetCMS. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. Do you mean that if i remove the external link, my article will be ok? How about Conquestcms, ExpressionEngine and SQL Server? Any reason these system allowed to link to their official website and SmartPlanetCMS not allowed to do so? thanks KeithChee 15:48, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

The problem is not that you have a link, it's that your link is the only source of information about the company. In order to be concidered encyclopedic, a company must have been the subject of multiple secondary sources. See Wikipedia:Notability. I am being polite but it is a warning nevertheless. And I have answered your question and please refer to the link given. If you are too pressed for time to read the policy, from the top of my head, at least several reasons why your website should not be included.

It does not provide any information that Wikipedia cannot provide. Read the subsection "Links normally to be avoided" in WP:LINKS.

If you are related to the website, then WP:COI.

Page Perak is about the state in general, not about any particular place of interest. It is not about tourism. perak.info is more about tourism.

No. Just as what Bob K said, this is an encyclopedia, not place for all information. WP:5P. Official site however is acceptable. WP:LINKS (Check under What should be linked section)
Maybe not your problem but it is the site's problem. The site certain in violation of no advertising rule. WP:LINKS
Wikipedia is a place for sharing but not all information deserved to be shared here. They should be shared elsewhere. WP:NOT. And no. I am not insulting you. It's just the rules.
