Please stop adding biased sources to articles

[edit]

I noticed that you have been adding sources to Wikipedia articles. This is wonderful, but I have noticed that the same sources are being used repeatedly. In particular, the Polymerase chain reaction, DNA ladder, Electrophoresis, and Transformation (genetics) articles were supplied with references from "Expressions" and "Focus." "Focus" is a newsletter from the company Invitrogen which also supplies products for these assays and can hardly be considered an unbiased source. In the worst case this could be considered advertising, especially since you also edited the Invitrogen article. I suggest you start using other sources. There is a nice journal called Nature Methods and there are a variety of published laboratory manuals that would be excellent sources. Forluvoft (talk) 00:48, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
