User talk:Mugtheboss
June 2022
[edit]Hello. Regarding the recent reverts you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Additionally, Twinkle and RedWarn are also useful tools for this purpose. Thanks, Kpddg (talk) 15:42, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
- That seems to be a very good tool, thanks for letting me know about this. Mugtheboss (talk) 15:45, 15 June 2022 (UTC)

Le Rhone engines
[edit]Hi, can I help you with your edits to the the Le Rhone engines? I don't understand what you are trying to do. Any footnotes in an article appear in the reference section only. Sometimes engine application sections have a header note 'List from...' with a single citation. Most application blue links do not need to be cited if the aircraft type article contains the facts. Cheers. Nimbus (Cumulus nimbus floats by) 16:12, 27 August 2022 (UTC)
- Hello, I was trying to create references supporting the use of the engine in every one of the plane models — as general, overview index references — as opposed to the references present on the individual articles, which are oftentimes sources specific to that model of plane, and ones that make research of the engines tedious.
- Hope this clears some things up, Mugtheboss (talk) 16:40, 27 August 2022 (UTC)
- They are not usually required, the Vintage Aviator is not a reliable source. Footnotes are explanatory notes with a citation that appear in the reference section of articles. If you wanted to cite each aircraft type then it would need a citation for each entry, this rapidly becomes untidy. Occasionally an application is contested and this is thrashed out on the talk page. Rolls-Royce Merlin is one of three engine Featured articles, its application section has a note where the list is sourced from (Cite 114 and footnote 16) and there are a few footnotes that appear at the top of the Reference section. Nimbus (Cumulus nimbus floats by) 16:48, 27 August 2022 (UTC)
- I see, I will see to it that my edit will be undone, seeing as you are in the aircraft wikiproject and know more about how articles are dealt with over there. Mugtheboss (talk) 17:31, 27 August 2022 (UTC)
- No worries, give me a shout anytime. Most articles have a project or task force that looks after them, the links are in the talk page headers. There are often style, content and referencing guides. Aircraft engines is a task force of the aircraft project: Wikipedia:WikiProject Aircraft/Engines. Cheers Nimbus (Cumulus nimbus floats by) 17:37, 27 August 2022 (UTC)

DYK for Shinzō wo Sasageyo!
[edit]On 16 November 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Shinzō wo Sasageyo!, which you recently nominated. The fact was ... that the title of "Shinzō wo Sasageyo!", the opening theme song for season two of Attack on Titan, comes from an in-universe salute and battle cry? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Shinzō wo Sasageyo!. Ariel Barrett moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Ariel Barrett. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. JTtheOG (talk) 01:13, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- I’m pretty sure this may have just doomed Category:Jamaican female chess players because C1 has a 1 week time restraint, but the average wait for a draft to be reviewed is 5 weeks. Well, this is a very annoying predicament. — Mugtheboss (talk) 17:59, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Jamaican female chess players
[edit]A tag has been placed on Category:Jamaican female chess players indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 07:42, 27 January 2024 (UTC)

About RLG
[edit]What actually happened to the collapse of rlg 154.161.35.49 (talk) 14:02, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- I'm assuming you are referring to the Rlg Communications article, since I'm the most recent editor of that article. I have no idea how it collapsed, as I have no affiliation to the company in question and did no further research on it. I was surfing Low-importance, unassessed company articles and happened upon it. Sorry. — Mugtheboss (talk) 15:06, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
