The article Jojo Ryder has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. username warning

[edit]

Based on your user name, you appear to have a conflict of interest with the production entity "silent string entertainment" .

As a general rule, a suitable page will be best written by someone without Conflict of Interest; it's not impossible to do it properly with a conflict of interest or as a paid press agent, but it's relatively more difficult: you are automatically thinking in terms of what the subject wishes to communicate to the public, but an uninvolved person will think in terms of what the public might wish to know.

However, since the name you have used includes or refers to the subject of the articles you have been working on, you must choose another username. As explained in WP:USER, only individuals may edit. When you have a username that is or includes the name of your organization, you imply that you are editing officially, and have a superior right to edit the page. But that is not the way WP works--all editors are considered equal--and your contributions like those of any editor must be justified by sources. I'm sure you do not intend to give such impression, but that's why we have the rule. Therefore, please choose another name. On that user page, you should say whom you are working for. DGG ( talk ) 02:46, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

hi there..I don't no how to change my user name? or what is it you are asking? and yes you are correct, i do not intend to give that impression, and I totally completely understand about how WP works and apologize if it comes off bias. thank you for your input..I did create a user page of that name? is that what it was? please reply..thank you. Silentstringent (talk) 04:52, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I received your email. To change your user name, the simplest thing to do is just to start using another, and , on the user s=page, say whom you previous were. You don't have to do it immediately, but you must do it before you add any more articles about people connected with your business.
As for the article, the only thing that can possibly save it is reliable references. If you have them, that will be sufficient; if not, the article will be deleted. Please read MQS's comment at the afd -- he is an extremely careful editor with great understanding about articles on entertainers, and most people here rely on what he says. I certainly do on anything in this subject. I've added a comment myself about the type of sources that are needed. DGG ( talk ) 01:29, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

thank you DGG for your help on everything...I am really trying my best to figure all of this out. Thank you again Silentstringent (talk) 03:38, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
And here I thought the username was a combination of Silent and Stringent, as in Quiet yet Strict. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 02:26, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have asked the deleting admin User:Arbitrarily0 to userfy the deleted Jojo Ryder article to you at User:Silentstringent/workspace/Jojo Ryder. Please feel free to ask other, more experienced editors, for advice and guidance as you work to improve the article. Best, Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 02:21, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:JoJo Ryder.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MGA73 (talk) 16:29, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Block reasons

[edit]

A Wikipedia account is to be used by only one person. The userpage identifies "Silent String Enterprises" as a company. A company is (typically) not a single person, but multiple people acting together. "Company accounts" are therefore not allowed.

If you can assure me that you are only one person, I will unblock this account; however, I strongly recommend that you file a request to have your username changed, so that it more clearly indicates that you're only one person. DS (talk) 11:50, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

hi there, yes i'm one person. soon as i figure out how to change the username today, i will do that. Thank you sooooo much for your help with this! I very much appreciate it!!! User:Silentstringent
Done. Good luck. DS (talk) 15:46, 19 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much Dragonfly! User:Silentstringent

A tag has been placed on User:Silentstringent, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Peacock (talk) 18:46, 6 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm trying to change my username... but everything is confusing on how to do that? I don't know code and the only thing that has any info on it is this - === Silentstringent → CanaryWharf123 ===

is this the correct way to change username? and since you deleted my page can I still get it back so I can change my username? will you please help me Peacock? Thank you very much for anything you can help me with, sorry that my name has ent on the end of it..it was what my co worker helped me sign up with..

If you copy the text above to Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple, you will start the process to change your name (just replace the text "please state a reason" with the reason for your request. If you have questions about a page deletion, you will have to contact the administrator that deleted the page (I can't see or recover the page because I'm not an administrator). I hope this helps. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Manny Guevara, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jim Jeffries (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
