Rapper
I made edits to following page can u patrol the page if it needs more edits to be good for wikipedia Sufi_(rapper) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kashmirtalkw (talk • contribs) 14:03, 29 January 2015
- @Kashmirtalkw: I agree with User:Chris troutman, that this person is not notable enough for an article on Wikipedia and it should be deleted. None of your sources are both independent and reliable and actually about Sufi the rapper. Several of your sources are about completely different topics that have the same name. Some sources are so far from describing the rapper that their inclusion almost seems like an attempt at fraud, trying to trick us into thinking there are more sources about this person than there really are. WestCoastMusketeer
Hi Oiyarbepsy, thanks for patrolling my articles Could you patrol my two new articles
Also, of the patrolled articles, last week, the tag has not been removed for
Thanks for your help "WestCoastMusketeer (talk) 05:29, 30 January 2015 (UTC)"
- @WestCoastMusketeer:Done. The unreviewed tag had been removed from Fraser Town, but it did have a need-better-refs tag which was obviously not the case, so I removed that. However, posting on a particular user's talk page every time you have new articles is not the way to handle this. I've nominated you to get auto patrolled rights (Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Autopatrolled#User:WestCoastMusketeer) which means that all of your new articles will automatically be marked as patrolled and you won't need a second editor to do that. If they grant you that right, you're welcome to remove the {{unreviewed}} tag yourself. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 15:27, 30 January 2015 (UTC)
Thankyou for your support
Thankyou for your support in expressing that the existence of that attack page was not at all appropriate. I didn't expect to see the page deleted. I would comment that this is why Wikipedia has notability requirements, because the less notable a person is the less vetted the information on them is. None of the people who wrote about me during the American women novelists debate ever tried to contact me in person, they were content to use the less adequate method of email contacts.John Pack Lambert (talk) 04:00, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
- Your welcome. I have more respect or for rationalwiki, seeing how they deleted in within a day. And I wouldn't really call it progressive wiki, BTW, since they also enjoy trashing anti-vaxxers and anti-GMO, which are both liberal kinds of nonsense. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 04:15, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
- All I know was that the article was a hate filled invective that had no basis in fact, and was built around false premises like "All Mormons are from Utah". It is not every day I get accused of being a supporter of mass murderers.John Pack Lambert (talk) 05:04, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
Categorisation of templates
Hi, re edits like this - I notice that you added the cat immediately above an instruction "PLEASE ADD THIS TEMPLATE'S CATEGORIES AND INTERWIKIS TO THE /doc SUBPAGE, THANKS" - why was the doc page not suitable for this cat? --Redrose64 (talk) 19:47, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
- Looks like you're right. Seems the correct way is {{substituted|auto=yes}}. I'll go fix them. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 23:54, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
AfD
Hi Oiyar. Please be sure to follow up on the closures of your AfD noms, such as for example at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Westmark School (Encino). It would help improve your score if ever you wanted to be an admin and generally reinforce your knowledge of the exceptions to all our confusing rules. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 07:11, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
- @Kudpung:As far as I know, there isn't really any need to followup on a closed AfD, aside from, in this case, improving the article, which I've started on (barely). I'm not quite sure how I would followup here. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 17:31, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
- By checking the outcomes of your nominations, you will learn what kind of outcomes to expect and what kind of nominations would be a waste of your time. That how I learned it anyway, and I now have a very high success rate of nominations and voting on AfD. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 18:01, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

note
'Patrol' and 'review' aren't the same thing at all. Please don't tell people that they are. Thanks. DS (talk) 16:18, 12 February 2015 (UTC)
- @DragonflySixtyseven:WP:Reviewing is pending changes reviewing and WP:Review is peer review. So, as far as what new pages review means, you're gonna have to help me out. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 16:34, 12 February 2015 (UTC)
- Please read template:Whydidyoudothat. In particular, follow the links. DS (talk) 17:08, 12 February 2015 (UTC)
- @DragonflySixtyseven:I did. One link doesn't even have the word "review" in it, and the other one treats the words as synonyms. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 02:40, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
- Please read template:Whydidyoudothat. In particular, follow the links. DS (talk) 17:08, 12 February 2015 (UTC)

Deletions at the village pump
There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. I wrote that you helpfully resolved the issue at the village pump. I am unhappy about treatment by some others. Sorry to bother you, but you've the right to be given the opportunity to comment. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 120.136.36.235 (talk) 23:47, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
