[edit]Hello, I'm Cogsan. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Characters of the Mortal Kombat series have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. cogsan (nag me) (stalk me) 17:58, 21 February 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Arllaw (talk) 18:50, 6 June 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:
Dear Wikipedia Administrators, I am writing to appeal my recent block due to accusations of spamming. I apologize for any inconvenience my actions may have caused, and I would like to provide some context and clarification to explain the situation. I understand that Wikipedia's guidelines are stringent when it comes to preventing spam, and I fully support these policies as they are essential for maintaining the integrity and quality of the content. However, I believe my contributions were mistakenly identified as spam. My intention was not to promote or advertise, but to contribute valuable information that I thought would be beneficial to the Wikipedia community. Here are the steps I have taken to address the issue and ensure it does not happen again: Review of Guidelines: I have thoroughly reviewed Wikipedia's guidelines on spam and external links to better understand what constitutes acceptable contributions. Content Revision: I have revised the content I added to ensure it complies with Wikipedia's standards and does not appear promotional in nature. Commitment to Compliance: I am committed to strictly adhering to Wikipedia's content policies and guidelines in the future. I will also focus on making contributions that are well-sourced, neutral, and verifiable. I genuinely value being part of the Wikipedia community and contributing to this valuable resource. I respectfully request that you reconsider my block and allow me the opportunity to demonstrate my commitment to making constructive and policy-compliant contributions. Thank you for your time and consideration. Ostap49 (talk) 11:30, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
According to zerogpt.com, there's a 100% chance this was written by an AI. We have no interest in AI chatbots editing Wikipedia, so I decline your request. Yamla (talk) 12:22, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
