I am on an extended wikibreak and will be much less online than usual (if at all). If you need an admin, please go to WP:AN. If you came here because I speedily deleted an article, please see WP:REFUND first. If you have questions/problems concerning academic journals, Headbomb is very knowledgeable on this subject and always very helpful. Thanks. |

Hi, and welcome to my User Talk page! For new discussions, please add your comments at the very bottom and use a section heading (e.g., by using the "+" tab, or, depending on your settings, the "new section" tab at the top of this page). I will respond on this page unless specifically requested otherwise. I dislike talk-back templates and fragmented discussions. If I post on your page you may assume that I will watch it for a response. If you post here I will assume the same (and that you lost interest if you stop following the discussion).
Reversion of page change by Journal Editor
[edit]Hello - I'm not sure what happened, but I'm the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Operations Management. In an effort to make the most current information about the Journal available I added direct links to our official journal page that we manage: www.jom-hub.com . However, these changes were undone. As EiC I assure you that this www.jom-hub.com is the official site. Indeed if you go to the Wiley site for the Journal, you will see a prominent link to www.jom-hub.com I'm not sure what else can be said to assure Wikipedia of this. There is no one higher than the EiCs on this question. Bendoly (talk) 16:30, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, I see on your talk page that you have been advised that you should disclose your COI and how to do that (years ago, in fact). As for the website, I have changed that, I went a bit too fast when I looked at the Wiley page. I did again remove that one sentence with an inappropriate in-text external link. The way websites are presented now make this lin unnecessary. As for your suggestion in one of your edit summaries of a phone call with "Wikipedia", that won't happen. As a management specialist you should know by now that WP is decentralized and basically a functioning anarchy. There's no way to contact WP, only individual editors (and in case of conflicts, noticeboards like WP:ANI). --Randykitty (talk) 17:07, 28 December 2024 (UTC)
