Posting images
[edit]When you post images on a table list of vehicles, please make sure that the last section in the coding that reads "thumb" (ie, [[File:blah.jpg|thumb]]) is changed to a dimension in px, based on the sizing of other images in articles (ie, [[File:blah.jpg|150px]]). Editing tables.
[edit]Hello.
When you edit a table, you just can't delete out rows like you did in the Rosa Parks Hempstead Transit Center article. The table ended up looking like this:
Bay # | Route | Terminus | Service notes | ||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
7 | n35 | ||||
8 | 9 | 10 | n6 |
| |
11 | |||||
12 | n41 | ||||
13 | n40 |
Please "Show preview" before you "Publish changes"!
Thanks, --SkipperRipper (talk) 15:20, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
Once again, a note about editing tables.
[edit]Once again, you are editing tables and making a mess out of them. Routes need to be listed in order and formatted correctly. All the routes you added had NO formatting. Never "Publish changes" unless the whole table looks the same. And again, use Show preview to check your work before you publish it. Also, the streets for the terminals need to match what is already in the table. And one last thing, you need to cite your sources, especially when making large changes in an article or a table. I'll end up with an hour of my time (again wasted) cleaning up what you added and typing this guidance. Please do better! --SkipperRipper (talk) 03:25, 19 August 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Station announcements
[edit]Hi, you have made edits on sportscasters' pages to the effect that they have been making pre-recorded announcements for train stations. Do you have references for these? Neils51 (talk) 13:23, 18 September 2022 (UTC)
SNY's YouTube channel, also I've been recording them Transitsylveonkpop (talk) 12:08, 21 September 2022 (UTC)
SNY's YouTube channel, also I've been recording them. Also, they are recorded onboard trains, not stations. Transitsylveonkpop (talk) 12:08, 21 September 2022 (UTC)
- OK, you might like to add refs else such material can be deleted. Neils51 (talk) 10:06, 22 September 2022 (UTC)

And again, a comment about your edits on the lists of NYC bus routes.
[edit]Your last edits on the “List of bus routes in the Bronx” were not so good. Please look at similar articles for similar edits (Q20A and Q20B for example) before you go and make edits that end up needing to be re-edited by myself or others. This is the fourth time I’ve had to clean up after you! Again, please do better when you edit! —SkipperRipper (talk) 02:51, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
Q23 to LGA
[edit]Could you find a source for the fact that there were Q23 trips to LGA that ended in 2012? Signs were put up, but I don't think service actually ran. I am reverting the edit in the meantime. Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 11:57, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
- i remember when I was younger I rode a Q23 that went to LGA airport. Also saw them at stops along LGA Transitsylveonkpop (talk) 18:58, 25 July 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to CT Rail, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 23:52, 6 December 2023 (UTC)
List of bus routes in Nassau County - n72.
[edit]Why did you remove my edit and change all the n72 stuff around? The n72 is only temporarily discontinued, which does not warrant removal from the list, and a good example is that we don’t remove n88X each fall and then add it back each spring, and this is a similar situation. If the n72 does get permanently discontinued, then it would be appropriate to make the edits like you did. Please revert or remark out your last four edits on that page and restore my edit. If I end up editing them, I will just simply revert them. Thank you. —SkipperRipper (talk) 19:38, 8 January 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Paper9oll. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Candy Shop (group), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 04:40, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at EZRide, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 20:16, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for November 13
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited R36 (New York City Subway car), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Flushing-Main Street. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
