You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Longhair\talk 18:25, 11 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I am contesting this block on the grounds that I have not engaged in behavior worthy of blocking, as alleged by Longhair in the block log entry.

  1. “Any attempt to communicate with this editor is deemed ‘harassment’”: No, not any attempt. The vast majority of communications to my talk page are spam-posted escalated warning templates left by two editors, which I do consider harassment - especially when they are followed by an abrupt block without even a final notice.
  2. “Edit warring to promote content in breach of NPOV policy at Black-winged oriole”: No, not edit warring. I restored my preferred version for stylistic - not POV - reasons, once within the last 24 hours.
  3. “Unwilling to work alongside others here without resorting to conflict”: It is difficult see how this is true, given that I have been continually followed by a very small group of editors ready to pounce on every edit I make and leave messages on my talk page threatening to block me in my very short time on Wikipedia. I was essentially introduced to the project on uncivil terms and I have been trying to cope with that since. I have been presented with no opportunities to work collaboratively with editors who truly wish to work with me - only a small handful of editors who wish to see me blocked.

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
