[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Jon Laurimore has been reverted.
Your edit here to Jon Laurimore was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (https://moonbasealpha.fandom.com/wiki/Jon_Laurimore) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 05:48, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Ron Galperin. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 07:14, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
Your editing
[edit]Hey, it's great that you have decided to edit wikipedia and you are welcome here. But a large number of your contributions so far have been unhelpful and need to be reverted. Please slow down and familiarise yourself with the core wikipedia guidelines such as verifiability, neutral point of view, and reliable sourcing before you go much further. Adding a single comma or hyphen is great but the kinds of edits that are unhelpful include:
- adding references to sites like wikis or IMDb - see WP:UGC
- adding content copied from organisations' websites - see WP:PROMO and WP:COPYPASTE
You might like to explore the Wikipedia:ADVENTURE as a way to learn and get started here before editing further. Thank you Melcous (talk) 07:23, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
- I've run through all of your recent additions, and there were quite a few issues to resolve in addition to the ones above. I'm most concerned about the blatant copyright violations. You may not simply cut and paste sections of text you find on the internet. Any more of that will result in the immediate blocking of this account. In addition, you are frequently sourcing mirrors and other sites that very clearly attribute Wikipedia. These many not be used as sources here; please be more cautious when evaluating your additions. - As noted above. I'll go through the rest of your additions since 5/14, but that new article at Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu was blatantly copied from the given sources. We cannot do that. I've disabled this account until you chose to talk about this problem. Kuru (talk) 01:31, 10 June 2021 (UTC)
Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
