There is only one ref for this article, a book that is not in English, making it impossible to verify. A google search for him returns very little. He probably does exist but I can't verify, thus I believe he fails GNG and RS Gbawden (talk) 08:44, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Comment He is mentioned briefly in Quit India movement in Orissa as one of several people who "took the leading part in mobilising the people" and there is a 1942 incident in Nimapada that fits the timeline in the article, though the reference I found for this does not mention him. Vocalizing Silence: Political Protests in Orissa, 1930-42. So he's probably at least for real. Oriya Wikipedia [1] does not appear to have any hits for the cited reference (ମାଟିଦୀପର ଆଲେଖ୍ୟ) but I do not know what his name is in Oriya so I haven't been able to check if he has an article. There may also be different anglicisations of his name. If we don't find enough sources to support an article, I'd recommend at least creating a redirect to Quit_India_movement#Local_activism to preserve the history and book source. 24.151.10.165 (talk) 17:16, 11 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
