I was going to merge this with Union for the Mediterranean until I found Talk:Union for the Mediterranean#Flag which suggests it isn't authentic. Dougweller (talk) 14:58, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- This AfD nomination was incomplete (missing step 3). It is listed now. DumbBOT (talk) 11:37, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete I found this page on the website of the Union's secretariat. Look at the flag in the background of both pictures: it's plainly a blue flag with the Union's logo in the middle, so I'm sure. Unfortunately, only one half of the logo (with the white background) is visible, and thus only one half of the flag, so we can't tell what the other side looks like. It's quite possible that the current flag is the one shown in the article except with the logo superimposed. All that being said, I believe deletion to be appropriate: the photo shows that the flags shown in the article's references are wrong, and if these pages so inaccurately depict the flag, I don't think we can consider them to be reliable sources for the flag. Since all I can find about the flag from plainly reliable sources is a couple of pictures, and since these pictures aren't in-depth coverage, deletion for lack of notability is the best course. - Delete The complete logo is on the EU site. As the Union of the Mediterranean is an official body, the flag would have to be formally adopted and the wiki entry suitably referenced. But it would not seem to have a place outside the main article and clearly non-notable otherwise. AJHingston (talk) 15:41, 31 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
