The result was speedy keep, nomination withdrawn. Non-admin closure. BryanG (talk) 22:30, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Florida State Fair (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) (delete) – (View log)
Article provides little to no context, and little to no content. Article had been submitted for Speedy deletion, but another contributor removed the tag.
Also worthy of noting that a search on Google only brings up promotional pages, and no secondary source. Deenoe 22:17, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete per nomination. --Deenoe 22:22, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- keep - being a short article is not a reason for deletion. The leading sentance "The Florida State Fair is an annual State fair held at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, Florida." supplies enough context to identify its subject (the deletion criteria it was originally nominated for). A state fair with an attendance of over 400,000 people will pass the notability guideline once work on expansion begins. Note the article was nominated for deletion 10 minutes after it was created. Did you bother to search google news rather than just google?--kelapstick (talk) 22:23, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
