The result was delete. Athlete is a subxset of the GNG that require sources for notability. There is no consensus that ATHLETE is met so the default is to refer to the GNG. Spartaz ^Humbug! 05:22, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Again, it is a concern over significant coverage. He meets the requirements of WP:ATHLETE if Botola is professional. They certainly have some decent sponsorship and broadcasting rights allotted to the companies willing to pay for it. One of their players was referred to as "playing professionally in Morocco" recently by a Seattle sports writer. Zaidoune's team in particular has done some good stuff at home and in Africa throughout the years. It looks professional from all of the websites. The only concern is I cannot find coverage of the guy. If might be a good idea to delete it on that basis if WP:ATHLETE is to be ignored or takes a backseat to the established wiki wide guidelines.Cptnono (talk) 05:13, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
