First of all, the article lacks citations.

comment the article does not lack citations, although it could use more of them. And since "LOL" is maybe the most common piece of Internet slang, it's probably best to keep it. Otherwise we might end up deleting all articles on Internet slang, which would be too bad. Keep. One test I apply when I think about how to vote, is it likely that a reader, not knowing what the term means, might seek information. I think it passes. Really, though, I think we would do better to have a single list of internet slang, and redirects from the individual terms, since how much really can you say about LOL?
