Fails WP:ANYBIO, although there are a few articles covering Pronovost many are either passing mentions or are very short. Some coverage is just a quick description of the company (which has now folded) he found and who Pronovost is. Article is clearly authored by someone close to Pronovost because it contains information about his childhood that isn't included in any of the sources. During my search as per WP:BEFORE there are a handful of articles about him but they're either from his employer, or trivial mentions.
Source | Independent? | Reliable? | Significant coverage? | Count source toward GNG? |
---|---|---|---|---|
ABC30 | Local ABC News Station | Local ABC News Station | ~ Coverage is about being in a group of 100 entrepreneurs who went to the White House. | ~ Partial |
Community College Times | Non-profit advocacy group for community colleges | Appears to be reliable | ~ Article starts off talking about Pronovost but a vast majority of the article. Coverage of Pronovost is about 13% of the article and is only a mention of his trip to the White House | ~ Partial |
McClatchy Newspapers | Considered independent | Considered reliable. | Article goes into depth about Pronovost and his company | ✔ Yes |
PC Mag | Independent PC and technology magazine | PC Mag is considered reliable Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_233 | ~ Coverage is about the company Pronovost founded, his coverage is very short but the focus is the company and technology not it's CEO. | ~ Partial |
Times of India | Considered to be independent | ~ As per WP:TOI reliability between no consensus and generally unreliable. | ~ Article is very short and is covering the company. Pronovost is mentioned once very briefly. | ~ Partial |
Empact 100 | ? Can't tell but I think this website is the group that sent 100 people to the White House | ~ Can't really tell from the website in the internet archive. I assume that these facts are submitted by the nominee. | ~ Features some basic information about the company Pronovost founded and about him. Very short article without any real substance going into Pronovost. | ? Unknown |
KSEE24 | Local NBC station | Local NBC station | ~ Coverage is about him being invited to the White House but it isn't an interview just a short blurb that he's going and a paragraph about his company. | ~ Partial |
PBS | PBS is independent | PBS is reliable | ~ Video will not play on the PBS site, there is not a copy elsewhere on the website but was able to find a 0:45 clip on the Chamber of Commerces YouTube account. It's very short and just gives a quick breakdown of his company. | ~ Partial |

Keep The source assessment table should not lead to "delete". One reliable in-depth source, several low(but not trivial) coverage reliable sources are enough for a small article. Lurking shadow (talk) 11:33, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
- Weak keep The McClatchy newspapers and the PC Mag sources are probably the best, rest are minimal, but I think it's just barely at GNG with all the sources together. Oaktree b (talk) 12:03, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
Comment So part of my reasoning here with the AfD is that the subject appears to only be notable for one thing which was the company. Do we think this falls under WP:BIO1E? Dr vulpes (💬 • 📝) 01:49, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
- Keep borderline pass - some more coverage found [1], [2]. HCIhistory (talk) 09:10, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
