Nominator's rationale: While stub sorting, I expected {{US-law-bio-stub}} to be fairly generic and cover lawyers, clerks, judges, etc.; however, the jurist category that it populates seems overly specific when compared to the verbiage actually added by the tag. Category:American law biography stubs seems more in line with the other similar categories (though several seem to stop at the continental category level). Perhaps the sub-categories were missed at one point post-2012 CfD on Jurist stubs? There was an even older 2005 SfD (never heard of that before now), but that looks OBE after the 2012 CfD occurred. -2pou (talk) 23:15, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: procedural keep. I will start a new nomination with all the categories using "Slovenian Wikipedia". (non-admin closure) Qwerfjkltalk 18:36, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Its parent article, "Articles needing translation from Slovene Wikipedia", uses Slovene instead of Slovenian, so it should use that terminology. Gamerknowitall (talk) 05:53, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: WP:CATSPECIFIC: to show these texts are written in the Ancient Egyptian language and not just "from Ancient Egypt". Follow-up to Texts in Fooian. See also the Egyptian papyri CfR. NLeeuw (talk) 18:58, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: To clarify that we mean the time and place of ancient Egypt as the papyri's origins, not that they were necessarily written in the ancient Egyptian language, as the main article List of papyri from ancient Egypt says clearly. I just boldly renamed that already, so it can't be speedied, but this is a follow-up to Texts in Fooian, where this language / country ambiguitywas already recognised as an issue to be addressed. This is a first step to resolving it. As an Alt, we could also leave out 'ancient', but all papyri listed stem from antiquity; they are all dated BCE. Nominator's rationale: Regions are not local government units (LGUs). The name is also misleading because not all LGUs have a governor. HueMan1 (talk) 11:28, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: delete. (non-admin closure)LaundryPizza03 (d) 03:38, 23 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: For the subcategory per WP:OCAWARD, WP:NONDEFINING and maybe WP:NOTPROMO
The Ananda Puraskar is an Indian literary award for Bengali literature given by the ABP (Ananda Bazar Patrika) Media Group. A significant number of the recipients are long-term employees of ABP but it's not clear if this is an in-house promotional award or is issued more broadly. The articles don't treat this award as defining, generally mentioning it in a list with other honours. The contents are already listified right here in the main article for any reader interested in the topic. - RevelationDirect (talk) 02:14, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: delete. (non-admin closure)LaundryPizza03 (d) 03:38, 23 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: For the subcategory per WP:OCAWARD and WP:NONDEFINING; for the parent category per WP:C2F: one eponymous page
The Sainte-Beuvee Prize is a French literary award that has two categories: "novels" (or "poetry") and "essays" (or "critics"). I went through about half the biography articles and most don't mention the award at all and the rest mention it in passing so it doesn't seem remotely defining. The contents are already listified right here in the main article for any reader interested in the topic. (No conceptual objection to the parent category, but the only direct content is the main article.) - RevelationDirect (talk) 02:14, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: rename to Category:Boxing gyms and clubs. and Category:Boxing gyms and clubs in the United States. (non-admin closure)LaundryPizza03 (d) 03:37, 23 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: I can't quite tell how these trees are supposed to be distinguished from each other, apart from their names, which would violate WP:SHAREDNAME. Both trees seem to include facilities where boxers train and compete. The clubs tree is a bit more established, with more country categories, though both were created around the same time by User:PanchoS. Paul_012 (talk) 01:31, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: WP:C2C (all are in Category:European culture by country) & WP:C2D (all main articles are called Culture of Fooland). Follow-up to consensus established at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2023 August 9#Fooian culture to Culture of Fooland and Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2023_August_21#Fooian_culture_to_Culture_of_Fooland_part_2 Possibly a redirect could be an option.
