Nomination
[edit]Ezekiel63745 (talk · contribs) – Although I started Wikipedia a few days ago, I've been proven to be using good faith. With a total of 138 edits, the chances are, I must be accepted. I may not, but I think my chances of being accepted are 6 in 10. I will revert any vandalism I catch. Ezekiel! Talk to meh.See what I'm doin'. 23:28, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here:
Questions for the candidate
[edit]Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. Please answer these questions to provide guidance for participants:
- 1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
- A: Eh, I don't know. Blocking abuse, deleting nonsense, and protecting high pages from vandalism, like I might do with my userpage.
- 2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
- A: Well, I did a major improvement on LocoRoco 2, and I made the Numbers and Punctuation templates the Verdana font.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Well, not quite. Users never got me into stress, and I barely encounter an edit conflict.

Oppose
[edit]- Oppose. I'll say it first. Thanks for offering to help, but far too soon. Come back in another six months or so. QU TalkQu 23:43, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- You are saying that I should request adminship in, like, April or so? Ezekiel! Talk to meh.See what I'm doin'. 23:50, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- No, I am saying that once you have demonstrated a deep and wide knowledge of Wikipedia, a long term commitment to uphold the policies and standards here, a consistent record of the correct use of other less risky tools (like rollback and review) and have shown a need for the admin tools - then you should ask. QU TalkQu 23:53, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Oppose. I'll say it second then. If you feel up to cracking down on vandalism or any the above, try starting somewhere a little less ambitious with less than 200 edits under your belt. Try going for rollback rights and work from there. Nothing against your edits, but your account is way too young, see other's who have RFA's currently listed for idea's on what your next step could be.--Jab843 (talk) 23:48, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- And you are saying that I should request adminship When I'm 15? Because my birthday is in April, 15. Ezekiel! Talk to meh.See what I'm doin'. 23:50, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- No, see QU's response. To put it in perspective, I have almost 2k edits and yet I still feel as though I still have boundless opportunities to learn on Wikipedia and new situations provide new experiences. So don't put your head down, but work on sharpening your skills not only as a reversion editor, but also have some article creations under your belt along with other skills.--Jab843 (talk) 23:59, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Oppose Simply per WP:NOTNOW Come back in say 6-12 months with some more experience :) I'd be happy to help you out in your way around Wikipedia if you ever need it. All the best,--White Shadows Your guess is as good as mine 23:50, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- WP:NOTNOW. Welcome to Wikipedia, though. Try creating an article or two first. 28bytes (talk) 23:51, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- I'd say to give it a year, particularly as you are quite young. You need to get a real feel for the place before you can be a successful admin - there's a lot more to it than blocking the odd vandal. Plenty of things to try - WP:RECENT CHANGES and new page patrolling, adding content, finding references for all our unreferenced articles, join a WikiProject and get involved in that. - Per WP:NOTNOW. Feel free to come back when you have gained some more experience. ~NerdyScienceDude 00:00, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per WP:NOTNOW. Salvio Let's talk about it! 00:06, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
