Problem with changing username.
[edit]I want to change my username to Lucy LostWord, which I usually go by, but it said it was taken and I saw it was registered on MediaWiki, then I remembered that was me who had made a MediaWiki account when searching for somewhere to make a new wiki. If I log into that account and change its username, will I be able to the change the username of this account to Lucy LostWord? I do not want to make that other account my main.

- It will need to be manually handled. Go post over at meta:Steward_requests/Username_changes#Requests_involving_merges.2C_usurps_or_other_complications. You will need to be able to log on to both accounts to prove they are you. — xaosflux Talk 00:12, 19 October 2024 (UTC)
- I am confused. I'm on mobile so there isn't a button to make a post on there and it seems hard to do it based on the other posts.
