欧足联欧洲联赛（UEFA Europa League）是歐洲第二大的歐洲俱樂部賽事，僅次於歐洲冠軍聯賽。歐洲聯賽是一項年度的足球盃賽，供所有歐洲足協成員國的球會參賽，參賽資格根據球會在所在國的聯賽表現及盃賽表現。
歐洲聯賽的前身是歐洲足協盃（UEFA Cup），於2009年6月正式改制為現欧足联欧洲联赛，2009-10賽季開始進行賽事[2][3]。歐洲足協將歐洲聯賽定性為歐洲足協盃的延續，改變的僅是賽制及宣傳包裝。
此賽事的歷史可追溯至1971年，該年歐洲足協接手1955年組織的城市博覽會盃，改為歐洲足協盃。1999年，歐洲盃賽冠軍盃（UEFA Cup Winners' Cup）被取消並併入歐洲足協盃[4]。
The competition began in 1971 and replaced the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. For UEFA footballing records purposes, the Inter-Cities Fair Cup is recognised as the direct predecessor of the UEFA Cup. In 1999, the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup was abolished and merged with the UEFA Cup.[5] For the 2005/6 competition a group stage was added prior to the knock out stage. The 2009 rebranding will see a merge of the UEFA Intertoto Cup producing an enlarged competition format, with an expanded group stage and changed qualifying criteria.
烏克蘭球隊薩克達是此項賽事的現任冠軍，薩克達在去屆決賽擊敗來自德國的雲達不來梅，成為歐洲足協盃的最後一任冠軍。
