Mega Drive（簡稱MD，美國稱Genesis）是SEGA在1988年在日本、1989年在美國推出的16-bit家用遊戲機。當時Genesis在美國更與Nike及Levi's列為最受年輕人寵愛的牌子。到1996年SEGA官方公佈的銷售數字是3078萬台(包括CD化一體機)，其中日本國內400多萬台左右。從這個角度看MD雖敗猶榮，至少比起後來接過它的接力棒的32位元主機要體面的多。
