琴娜·杜普洛Jeanne DuPrau (1944年生于加里福尼亚州的旧金山)是一个美国作家，因其Ember书籍系列儿童小说而著名。她生活在门洛帕克 (加里福尼亚州)。

The story focuses on a woman's frightening vision of the future and the townspeople's reaction to it.

The Diamond of Darkhold (2008) – The Diamond of Darkhold is the next book in the series. It picks up where The People of Sparks left off, during the Emberites' first winter aboveground.
