紐約州立大學（State University of New York，SUNY）是紐約州的一個由多家大學組成的大學系統，不是一家獨立的大學，紐約州的首府阿爾巴尼為其總部所在地。

紐約州立大學是全球最龐大的高等教育系統，整個體制由64所學府組成，共有學生近390,000人。在64所學府中有19所是四年制大學，而獲得《耶魯大學日報大學指南》選為全美百大的有紐約州立大學奧爾巴尼分校、賓漢頓大學、紐約州立大學水牛城分校、石溪大學等分校。

歷史

紐約州立大學是1948年由州長托馬斯·杜威創立的。

以上所有學校都位於紐約州，除了位於賓夕法尼亞州的傑姆遜城社區學院的沃倫中心。該中心是由賓夕法尼亞州教育部認證的。沃倫中心位於紐約州傑姆遜城以南25英里處，沃倫州立醫院的地塊上。[66]

爭議

2013年，該校科技學院（SUNY-IT）涉嫌歧視華人教授，在教授向校方舉報同事逼迫其要將名字強加入華人教授所寫論文中一事後被校方報復解僱，後經法院判決歧視成立。[67][68]
