Fastmail（旧版写作FastMail）一项由澳大利亚公司 Fastmail Pty Ltd 提供的电子邮件服务，因最早提供免费IMAP邮件服务而出名。2010年，該公司被Opera收購。2013年9月26日，Fastmail宣布從Opera分離，成為一家私人控股的獨立公司[1]。至今Fastmail在国際上仍是最受欢迎的IMAP邮件服务之一，而在中国则受到Gmail对IMAP的支持的冲击。Fastmail拥有数十个提供服务的域名。
在一項非正式的評比中，Fastmail的安全性與Gmail並列A級第二，A級第一是Mail.de（页面存档备份，存于互联网档案馆）。A級的條件：除了User - Server間的傳輸用TLS 1.2加密之外，Server - Server的送信、收信也必須支援TLS 1.2加密，才能保證傳輸的任何一段過程皆不被偷窺。世界各國Email服務中能達到頂尖的不到5家。但Fastmail由於伺服器設在侵犯網路隱私惡名昭彰的美國（關鍵字：稜鏡計畫），因此雖有技術上的安全性，仍不能保證美國政府不透過施壓業者的方式、不需竊聽即可取得通訊內容；所以Fastmail和Gmail在這項評比中被列為第二。[2][需要較佳来源]
历史
Fastmail 于 1999 年由 Rob Mueller, Bruce Davey 和 Jeremy Howard 创建。
2010 年被 Opera 收购。2013 年重新成为独立公司。[3][4][5][6][7]
2012-10-18 起，Fastmail 不再接受新的免费用户注册。[8] 现有的免费用户可继续使用，但若免费账户 120 天未登录，即会被删除。Fastmail 公司认为此举有助于他们为付费用户提供更优质的服务。
2014-10-23 起，Fastmail 的主域名由 fastmail.fm 改为 fastmail.com。[9]
2019-06-24 起，Fastmail 采用新的网站设计，其品牌的拼写由 FastMail 改为 Fastmail。[10]
