Welcome to Wikipedia. Your test on the page NCIS (TV series) worked, and has been removed. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing and its related help page for more information. Thank you. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 00:50, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not make test edits to articles, as you did with this edit to NCIS (TV series), even if you intend to fix them later. Such edits constitute vandalism, and will be reverted. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 00:53, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to NCIS (TV series). It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to blocking of editing privileges. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. DKqwerty (talk) 01:55, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Persistantly changing text as you did with NCIS (TV series) is considered edit warring and violates Wikipedia rules. If you engage in edit warring again, you will be reported and lead to blocking of you and your computer from accessing Wikipedia to edit. While I am sure you meant no harm, perhaps you need to read some of the rules here so you do not inadvertanly violate them and lose your editing privileges. I have nominated Jeff Isom, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jeff Isom (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Gosox5555 (talk) 02:03, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of 2009 Pittsburgh Pirates fire sale

[edit]

The article 2009 Pittsburgh Pirates fire sale has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article isn't suitable for an encyclopedia. It probably should be mentioned in the team's article or 2009 team season article (in less detail), but it doesn't require its own page.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Hillers64! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 3 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Mike Sirianni - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
