== Stop removing Taj Mahal picture from Bangladesh page ==

Please stop removing pictures of Taj Mahal from the Bangladesh page.
Firstly, the Taj Mahal in Bangladesh is not "fake" as you have so rudely put it. The politically correct term for it is a "replica". I never claimed that the Taj Mahal in Bangladesh was real. Please leave your political/personal biases out of Wikipedia and let us provide users with a bias-free source of information.
Secondly, I don't believe you have a valid point when you say that the "fake" Taj Mahal picture is irrelevant and adds no value to the Bangladesh page. I believe it does. Even though you may consider it a "fake", it is nonetheless a landmark in Bangladesh, and probably one of it's most visited tourist destinations. I don't see how a picture of a shopping mall (Bashundhara City) is relevant to the article, while one of Bangladesh's newest and most popular landmarks, the Taj Mahal replica is not.
Thirdly, I'm new to Wikipedia, so I am not sure what options I have to communicate with you and I hope this is the correct place to post messages directed at you.

Thank you
Shams

Michael Madhusudan Datta

Ragib, Madhusudan used "Dutta" as his last name. I had some books by him back in India containing photographs of his letters; in his letters he always signed his name as Michael Madhusudan Dutta. Please see this one. This book is being sold as a translation of his work and hence the correct spelling. Dutt has been tipically used in books that are commentaries on his life. So I believe changing his last name to Dutta will be proper.

Also, the painting by Atul Bose is in PD in India because it was unvailed before 1947. I know that he died in 1977 but I dont think there is any harm to upload a photograph of Indian PD art that is in India.

Let me know what you think.Sumanch (talk) 20:19, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for clarifying the issue with image. I had the Madhusudan Rachnabali either by Dey's Publisher or Ananda and it had photo plates of his letters with his signature. Sumanch (talk) 20:48, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ganges wavelength

As I said on my talk page, we must be on the same wavelength.  :) Fowler&fowler«Talk» 00:28, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

PS if you have better images of the Padma/Meghna, please feel free to swap with ones I've added. Fowler&fowler«Talk» 00:29, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
PPS I was thinking too that we should supplement the Nehru quote with an English translation either of a bhatiyali or a song by Kazi Nazarul Islam/Tagore (that is associated with the river). Do you have any such translation? Fowler&fowler«Talk» 00:41, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I notice that this category you created is unpopulated (empty). In other words, no Wikipedia pages belong to it. If it remains unpopulated for four days, it may be deleted, without discussion, in accordance with Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#C1. I'm notifying you in case you wish to (re-)populate it by adding [[Category:Provenance]] to articles/subcategories that belong in it.

I blanked the category page. This will not, in itself, cause the category to be deleted. It serves to document (in the page history) that the category was empty at the time of blanking and also to alert other watchers that the category is in jeopardy. You are welcome to revert the blanking if you wish. However, doing so will not prevent deletion if the category remains empty.

If you created the category in error, or it is no longer needed, you can speed up the deletion process by tagging it with {{db-author}}.

I am a human being, not a bot, so you can contact me if you have questions about this. Best regards, --Stepheng3 (talk) 06:20, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Commenting out image licenses

I recently undid the commenting out of the license you did on that image. I suggest leaving the licenses on images if they are disputed until the discussion is done. I was about to tag the image as no license speedy delete. This would have been a mistake on my part because there was a license. It was just commented out. Leaving the license there while discussing the image could help with the discussion as well.--Rockfang (talk) 19:06, 2 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why r u undoing the edits on Chowdhury Moyezuddin?

Hello Mr Ragib, Why are you undoing my edit. I have added a lot more information and altered a few ones that were not fully accurate. I have been researching on the life of Chowdhury Moyezuddin Bishwash for last 20 years. I am his great grandson. I appreciate your effort in putting up a lot of information about him and I am grateful to you for that, but I hope you will not prevent me from augmenting to that information. None of what I have said directly contradicts with any of the information that existed previously. So why the edit warfare?

Thanks Quaseed. User name: Shottobadi. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shottobadi (talkcontribs) 09:15, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
