A. K. Faezul Huq
Raghib Bhai, the article on my father has been rated 'low'. Would you please do something about this? I don't understand why people ignore the fact that my late father was the only son of late Sher-e-Bangla A. K. Fazlul Huq - one of the only few honest and patriot politicians in his time.
In the meantime, I will get some historical pictures scanned asap - my father's childhood photos with my grandfather, the photo in which my father is shaking hands with Bill Clintin, British PM Margaret Thatcher, cricket legend Imran Khan, etc, etc.
Please help me make my father's article one of the best on wikipedia dot org. The Minister 02:54, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Wards in Dhaka
I have seen a report on Ward 31 of Dhaka city in Prothom Alo last week. Looks like they are going to continue covering all of the Wards. Should there be separate articles for each Ward? Regards --Tarif from Bangladesh 07:07, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi Ragib, Thanks for defending the writing of the article on the talkpage. I have accumulated a large number of resources on the poet (about 15 books which I just bought in Bangladesh, as well as photos from a trip to Barisal) and will try to make this an FA over the next few months. Would greatly appreciate your guidance/suggestions/comments as the article develops. Thanks etc, Peripatetic 13:04, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

A. K. Faezul Huq
Raghib Bhai, someone has been trying to vandalize the article on A. K. Faezul Huq. Truth is, Faezul Huq, in his active years, never acknowledged the so-called wife (Marium Begum), or her children (Raju and Ripa) claiming to be his. At least we should know about this. However, they have been successful in impressing the press and media to publish their names on websites and newspapers, television programs, etc.
Moreover, Faezul Huq had registered number of complains with Gulshan Thana Police Station accusing Marium Begum, Raju, and Ripa of defaming my father various times, and of various crimes like blackmail, threat, etc. Please protect the article from further innocent and ignorant users from editing it. Thank you bhaiya. The Minister 17:57, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Ragib the link to www.boipara.com I added to the page did not contain pirated or illigal copy of the book. Its a well known archive maintained by some little mag fans. And the page I linked to, did not contain all the poems in the book (it is mentioned in that page ) I dont know about the copyright law which plays a role here, but boipara isnt illigal Jeroje 04:23, 29 July 2007 (UTC)jeroje

Fair Use Licensing Question
Hi Ragib,
Since I am not very well-versed in Wikipedia fair use licensing questions, I thought I'd ask for your opinion. I recently uploaded an image of Iqbal's poem for the Saare Jahan Se Achcha page. The image (see here) is that of the poem rendered in Urdu calligraphy and is from a book, kulliyaat-e iqbaal urduu, Lahore: Shaikh Ghulam Ali and Sons Publishers, 1973. p. 83. I downloaded the image from the Columbia University, Dept. of South Asian Studies WebsiteTaranah-e-Hindi. Since I couldn't find the calligraphic image of the poem anywhere, I uploaded it under fair use (see my fair use rationale here. The image was, however, removed by user Sarvagnya, with edit summary "rm pic with suspect licensing." When I asked him on his talk page why the licensing was suspect, he replied here to the effect, "Its not like that image is Iqbal's own calligraphy or something(and hence of historical value). It is in all probability the work of a local calligrapher and any calligrapher should be able to create it. Also, we already have the Urdu transliteration in the article and the image doesnt add anything of significance to the article." I am a little confused by the explanation, since Iqbal was not a calligrapher, and the Urdu transliteration (or even the cyber/unicode urdu script) provided on the page is hardly a replacement for real nastaliq. I could try and locate the first edition of Bang-i-Dara (1924) and scan it in to create a public domain image, but that would take time. In the mean time, isn't there any way to keep the image? As far as I am concerned nastaliq calligraphers are not exactly a dime a dozen, and finding or creating a public domain replacement is not easy. Let me know what you think. Fowler&fowler«Talk» 21:03, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- No problem. I didn't realize that anyone could write out the poem in Nastaliq and scan it. (The reason why I thought that was that although the poem is 103 years old, it has only been 69 years since Iqbal's death (i.e. PD-old-70 does not apply). But I just realized, that in Pakistan and India the copyright period is 50 years after publication (I'll double check), and most likely the book Bang-i-Dara (in which the poem was first published was published in British India). Anyway, I do have someone (an excellent nastaliq artist) in mind. Let me see what I can do. You do not need to reply to this post. Thanks again! And good luck on the summer job! Hello Ragib bhaiya,
Done (Template:Private Universities of Bangladesh). At last we did it. Like other foreign university templates, no other red link exist in it at all (আমরা আর পিছিয়ে রবো না). What a long journey was it?
BTW we should move forward to the Public university article, which isn't being maintained properly. I've encouraged some of my friends about wikipedia who are studying in Public university. But the problem is, they have lack of internet facility. I'm hoping, soon they'll be involved here (But not sure). Thank you--NAHID 19:57, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Urgent: India page
Hi Ragib, Since you are one of the people who made substantial comments in the last RfC we had on the Talk:India page concerning addition of new material (see here), I thought I would get your opinion about a new development. Yesterday, out of the blue, Blnguyen, who has no history of editing on the India page, made a post on the page suggesting that the India page be expanded to twice its size, which needless to say, has created a lot of confusion. Please see this section of the talk page there. As a result, User:Sarvagnya, for example, has returned to his scheme for de-constructing the India page. (By way of background: Nichalp, who usually watched over the article is busy this summer; Ragib, who was subbing for Nichalp is busy too. Blnguyen seems to think that the page is in bad shape and is about to be de-FA'd. He feels that it needs many more citations (and their lack) is reason enough for it to fail an FAR. Nichalp, when he was active, discouraged over-crowding the text with too many citations (especially when the text was composed in the summary-style, as India is). I think Blnguyen has some valid points: the page needs more (and certainly better) citations and the prose (especially of some new sections that were created by other people) needs revamping, but I think you might be in a better position to assess Blnguyen's idea of expanding the article to twice its size.) Regards, Fowler&fowler«Talk» 12:03, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Image source problem with Image:BUET logo.png
This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:BUET logo.png. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:40, 15 September 2007 (UTC). Hi. Noticed that you stepped in earlier on this - and you might want to take another look at it - their editing is consistently rude and disruptive, and anything at all they disagree with is branded "vandalism" or "NPOV" - which would be the case only in their own opinion at best. srs 08:55, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Going through the project I cam upon your comment made this July 17 - "I have some contacts who have collected a huge number of references about the Liberation War." Sorry that I didn't pay attention to it earlier. Are those contacts still around? Do you have some more time on your hand now? Bangladesh Liberation War is in desperate need of refs. The peer review has already called for a lot of it. Take a look at the situation, please. Thanks. Aditya(talk • contribs) 03:32, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I was referring to Mr. Mahmudur Rahman Jalal from Dallas. I've spoken with him, and he has collected a lot of stuff from various Academic libraries and newspaper archives. You can get a look at some of it from NyBangla. If you let me know what you need, I can call him up ... and get the references. Thanks. --Ragib 06:34, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
- Alas it's in Bangla. And, I have no font support on my PC, neither at home nor at office (this darn IT thingy is really so out of my league... sigh!). Well, I'll making a list of what I need soon enough. In the meanwhile, you may check Toddy1's comment at the peer review. And, here comes another request regarding pictures - can you list a few images that we need and can get out of the Daily Star? The photo-editor figures that he can only give us images case-by-case. Copyrights for many images printed on the DS does not belong to them, and a blanket permission would be an absolute violation of laws on their part. Once we know which images we need, I can find out if DS has it or not. If they have it, it will be fairly easy to get a permission from the photographers, as copyrights of newspaper photographs are equally shared by the photographer and the publisher. We still will have to make a full citation of the source, the news headline, name of the photographer, page number and the publication date, along with appropriate weblinks. And, oh, do you know any editor who I can turn to for a better understanding of licensing of such images? Aditya(talk • contribs) 15:16, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
Template sandboxing hint
It often is a good idea to test template edits in a sandbox, either the "X1-9" series or a page in your User: space. When the template is working correctly you can cut-and-paste your version in, so typos are not a problem as long as you're careful about whether or not there should be a blank line at the end. (SEWilco 03:32, 1 October 2007 (UTC))
- At least your little rv didn't affect anything. Good luck with your version. (SEWilco 03:42, 1 October 2007 (UTC))
Sorry, didn't mean to open a can of worms there. I'd been talking to a translator, and they said that all people from Bangladesh should be referred to as "Bengali". I also saw that on the article, it has Category:British Bengalis, so I changed the lead paragraph to match. So, are you saying that we should have two categories, one for "British-Bengalis" and one for "British-Bangladeshis" And how should his father Abul Fateh be listed? Area of Influence
The ICS is one of the strongest student fronts in the Universities of Chittagong, Dhaka, Rajshahi and Jahangirnagar. It is also emerging as a dominant group in the Khulna and Sylhet Universities. Within the vast madrassa (religious seminary) structure in Bangladesh, the ICS is reported to be a dominant and uncontested organisation
The position of ICS in DU, JU,ChU is definitely worse than other political parties.I was a student of Shahjalal University. They are not in good position there. In KhU, there are a very small portion.
Ragib, how can it be placed in Wiki? Is the expression described here truth? Please delete the Paragraph or put real expreesion.
The total article is biased. It should be monitored properly.
Also , it is noted that you created the page initially. If I am not mistaken, there is no other article about AL's student wing and BNP's student wing. And you should agree that AL's student wing and BNP's student wing are far far popular than ICS.
So either delete the article or create page for AL's student wing and BNP's student wing. Tnx --Sushantaa 23:14, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Bangladesh
I have some relatives in Bangladesh who will be taking care. Therefore, I don't think I will need any support, but thanks all the same for your offer. I have plans to visit Dhaka, Tangail, Bogura, Mymensing, Netrakona and some places in Sylhet. It is a tall order and I hope health problems do not intervene to cut it short. Depending on time and fitness, I may expand a little. I wanted to have a boat ride on the Padma but given up because of severe opposition in the family. Everybody feels that the boats are too crowded and risky. I believe BBC has telecast a programme showing the overcrowded boats and saying that accidents take place. I have not seen the programme but others have and so it is widely publicised in the family. My feeling has been that we need not panic as much as Europeans do. Conditions must be similar to what it is in India. Any advice? Regards. - P.K.Niyogi 08:18, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
2000th Edit
Hello, Ragib Hasan! This is my 2000th edit in Wikipedia. I couldn't find any better place to edit than your talk page. I can easily remember that a young man at Projonmo Dot com smiling to us. A picture that caught my eyes and my mind as soon I had a blink of it. When I came to know about Wikipedia on 31 March 2006, I thought, this is what I'm looking for! But I didn't realize this place is much more better than I thought. Looking back to that time, I think what if I missed that article, what if I thought I would read it later and never look back (which I do quite often). But again I think, this is what is meant to be. I've had so much fun here to say the least. But again my biggest achievement here is to meet people like you, kind of people you ever dream of, but hardly get. There was a time when I got lost in the darkness. I've become someone I never wanted to be, from the man I feel most comfort of. Wikipedia definately helped to overcome that period, gave back my biggest dream, my dream. What more to say, it is nice being here. When I started, I never thought, I would get this much love, care, inspiration and of course honour. At the UNDP workshop, about 50 people from around the country clapped for me, WOW! Am I really worth it? I know I'm not. It's you, it was you they clapped. May be, I would never make one more edit here, or may be I would carry on till the day I die. But nothing else matters now, cause I'm a Wikipedian, I was a major contributor of Bengali Language Movement and an ordinary teenager who lived his dream with some extraordinary people. Long live Wikipedia, Long live Wikipedians.
Sir, it was a true honour and previlege to be with you, and to all Wikipedians. Tarif from Bangladesh 10:05, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Sheikh Mujib
"Speaking on radio even as the army began its crackdown, Mujib declared Bangladesh's independence at midnight on March 26, 1971"
Mujib was arrested in the midnight of 25 March. He delivered a radio message. Name one person who heard this. The source quoted is a partisan source, that of Awami League. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.242.248.160 (talk) 15:18, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
- For your benefit, I'm quoting two sources. The first one is the Public relations officer of none other than Pakistan Army.
- Witness to Surrender, Siddiq Salik, Oxford University Press, USA; New Ed edition (May 1, 1997) ISBN 0195777611.
- Pakistan, Toppling over the brink. Time Magazine, April 5, 1971. [1]. Here is the quote: "The army ordered a strict 24-hour curfew in Dacca, with violators shot on sight. But soon the Free Bengal Revolutionary Radio Center, probably somewhere in Chittagong, crackled into life. Over the clandestine station. Mujib proclaimed the creation of the "sovereign independent Bengali nation," and called on its people to "resist the enemy forces at all costs in every corner of Bangla Desh." The defiant words, however, lacked military substance. At 1:30 a.m. the following day, soldiers seized the sheik in his home. Meanwhile, scattered rioting broke out in West Pakistan to protest the prospect of prolonged military rule.".
- Thank you. --Ragib 17:39, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Iowa comparison
Encyclopedic and other scientific analyses of population levels frequently compare the size and population density to U.S. States -- especially if MOST readership of the article are North American, as is the case with Wikipedia's article about Bangladesh. IMHO, your deletion of my valid edit was rash and pompous. If you do it again (which is likely), I'll submit the edit to an administrator, who will likely then tell you what I just told you: It was a relevant and helpful edit. 70.243.231.144 06:58, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- I am sorry, this encyclopedia is not written for readers of a particular country, so that you can justify making comparisons with an obscure subdivision of that country. Please discuss this further in the article talk page. Also, before making such edits to a featured article, please discuss in the article talk page. Thank you. --Ragib 07:16, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, you are sorry: As I just explained, mention of the land mass and population of "the U.S. state of Iowa" is not intended to cater to readers of any particular country: the BBC frequently mentions U.S. States, even though the BBC's readership is international, and your knowledge of the English language stems from the British influence in India before it was partitioned. Before deleting my edit, you should have discussed in on the talk page. As it is, you vandalized the article. Thank you. 70.243.231.144 07:40, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- See Talk:Bangladesh. Thank you. --Ragib 07:45, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- I apologize for not checking the Talk Page before I accused you of deleting my edit without discussing it on the talk page, sorry about that. Separately, I think all three of us will be happy if a comparison of the land mass & population of Bangladesh can be made to a well-known country or state of the same size, elsewhere in the world. Iowa is pretty convenient IMHO because it is almost exactly the same in square kilometres as Bangladesh, and is relatively sparsely populated. 70.243.231.144 07:54, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- See Talk:Bangladesh. Thank you. --Ragib 07:45, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- The Demographics section is appropriate for such details. --Ragib 08:01, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
Ragib, your PROD tag on Ayman Ashraf was removed by an anon user - who appears to have gone down the list of PRODs and objected to each and every one. He made it through most of the B's before he stopped. As a result, I nominated the article for deletion Here. Just an FYI. Best, ZZ Claims ~ Evidence 17:54, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
A question
In this article you added notability and citation tags. I see 1 publication, 1 reference and 3 EL to information, given that its afd had just closed IMHO adding those tags is bit of sour grapes. I ask you to reconsider maybe use an alternative like {{cleanup}} instead. Gnangarra 07:38, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- Alternatively maybe take it to DRV. Gnangarra 07:41, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for your comment. I have replaced the generic "references" tag with specific requests for citations. (the article has no citation other than a swiss publication mentioning him as the Ambassador of Bangladesh). I don't think you'd find a geocities.com site as WP:RS ... so I request citations per WP:V. Note that the AFD didn't close as "Keep", rather you ignored several counter-arguments about DGG's comments/points. The notability of the subject has in no way been established. So, the notability tag is quite justified. I'm busy for the next few days, so I'll take it to DRV after that. Thanks. --Ragib 08:03, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
WW interviewee userbox
Hi there, I've been thinking about this for a bit and I think we've got it working. User:scartol has been kind enough to create a userbox for the interviewees of Wikipedia weekly so you can put it on your userpage if you wish. Just copy this code:
{{User:Scartol/ubx/WikWeekGuest|15|http://wikipediaweekly.org/2007/03/14/wikipedia-weekly-15/}}
Which should come out looking like this
This user was a guest on Episode 15 of Wikipedia Weekly. You can listen here. |
Enjoy!

- Gee that is sad... I might raise that story in an upcoming episode. can you give me the link to the arbitration case? Witty Lama 00:15, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- Perhaps you'd like to add him to Wikipedia:Missing Wikipedians and describe his work. I think it would be appropriate that you did it. Best. Witty Lama 08:41, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
Pictures
I hope everything is all right. Regards.--BobClive 07:34, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
- Dear Ragiv, Knowing fully how busy you must be, I feel sorry to have sent the reminder. Let Deepavali enlighten us. Cheers.--BobClive 07:03, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- A further request: while entering the pictures of Bagha Jatin, will it be possible for you to replace the title picture (which is quite an approximative painting) by the photo taken in 1903 (Darjeeling) ? I do not know how this painting came to prominence (up to be found in the Wikimedia gallery); but, I hope you will agree, there is nothing better than the photos. Enjoy your week-end.--BobClive 07:29, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

Cyclone Sidr
Copying and pasting the section from 2007 North Indian Ocean cyclone season violates the GFDL. Next time you split an article, you should state in the edit summary that it was split from somewhere. I'll go ahead and take care of that. --Coredesat 03:01, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
Need your help with Jagadish Chandra Bose
You may have noticed that Jagadish Chandra Bose recently had a GA review and it failed. The review comments are available at: Talk:Jagadish_Chandra_Bose#Failed_GA. I have tried to address as many concerns as I can and still working on some. But there are a few areas which need input from the earlier references that were used.
I see that you contributed significantly to this article earlier. I'd request your help to address the concerns mentioned in the GA review. Let's collaborate to make this article a Good Article. Arman (Talk) 01:34, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Sidr article on Bengali Wikipedia
I can't read or write Bengali, but someone pointed out that the infobox on the Bengali Wikipedia article on Cyclone Sidr is messed up; the "type" and "category" parameters won't work with Bengali script unless the template code is changed to allow it (should be a matter of replacing various parameters and output with Bengali translations). Also, it shows Sidr as a Category 5; the highest status it reached was Category 4 from the Joint Typhoon Warning Center. --Coredesat 03:55, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for informing me. I've corrected it to Cat4. I'll ask someone to look into the template there. --Ragib 04:07, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:25paisa.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:25paisa.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use.
If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 06:15, 23 November 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. OsamaK (talk) 06:15, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
Bangladesh competition
Dear Ragib bhai: I have taken the liberty to propose you as the chairperson of the judging panel of the competition that we discussed. I have done this in the new page that I have created to discuss this competition. Could you please take a look and express your opinion there. Arman (Talk) 05:53, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- This is fine by me. I am sending you an email in the next 10 minutes (via WP) with some suggestions. --Ragib (talk) 05:54, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- Bhaia, my office blocks external emails including yahoo. That's why my turnaround time with email is a bit long. Usually I check my personal mail only on weekends. However, I'll try to check mail when I return home tonight. Arman (Talk) 06:16, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- Bhaia, I am feeling very encouraged to hear all these. I'll be in Bangladesh, too, for about a week in late December. May be I'll fulfil my long cherished dream of meeting you there. However, in all that you said, only one thing confused me a bit. You mentioned about corporate sponsorship. But is that compatible with wikipedia spirit? Arman (Talk) 07:29, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- Bhaia I read your email. I would be very very happy if BOSM runs the competition. I'll go slow on this so that you have time to discuss this with relevant people in Bangladesh and move forward. Arman (Talk) 02:56, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
Bangali Marriage Arbitration
Hi ragib, think we need to create a separate Page for Hindu Bengali Marriage. Since I am going to present a detailed Bengali Hindu marriage process. However I can do it on the same page as created by you but a lot of major changes needs to be done. Since you have given an overview of the wedding but no detailed steps. Wiki might be used by many people to use information provided here for their own purpose. If you agree we can modify the existing page. This is how:
3 different sections (pre-marriage, marriage and post marriage). Eevry section will outline the details of both Hindu and Muslim Bengali marriages. What do you think. Let me know.
Regards,
Abhijit

Photo Uploading
Hi, you may have remembered me for putting up images of Bangladeshi politicians that are not Wiki-enabled, but I am new to Wikipedia, and I would like to know, if I do have or own a certain image, how will Wikipedians know that this is really my work, and I have noticed the link of the image can be found, how do you do this because I have no idea and I would like to learn on how to edit pages and that in appropriate way, Dhonobhad. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Moshino31 (talk • contribs) 20:29, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Religious violence in India
Hi,
Thanks for your edits in Religious violence in India. Please be aware of User:Chanakyathegreat and User:Nikkul. They seems to get irritated as I created the article Religious violence in India. They are claiming that I am not neutral while editing these articles. I have added all necessary references in these article. So how they can claim that I am not neutral? They are personally attacking me willynilly breaking the rule of WP:NPA. Here [2], User Chanakyathegreat commented about me 'Ota crap is a fanatic Christian fundamentalist. More religious than the pope. His version is to spread Christian propaganda. He has started multiple articles with links to fundamentalist Christian websites. He need to be banned and all the edits by him reverted'. It seems that they are not liking this article. Why? Religious violence exits in Inida, exits despite India is a secular country. Since independence several riots, not one or two, occured in India with great loss of life, property and human rights violations. This can never be an ignorable issue. This should be an encyclopedic article. And I am trying to bring this fact in light from a neutral point of view with all necessary citations. So I have become a 'fanatic Christian fundamentalist'? So I am 'More religious than the pope'? So I 'need to be banned'?
I will like to advice you also become aware of these users. Hope to enjoy any collaborative edit in future. Thank you.Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 09:52, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
I have not violated any wiki policy. Noting that someones edits are not neutral is not breaking any rule. Look at his edits. Some are verified. Some are totally point of view. Here is a quote from what I wrote: "
this user has made it seem like Hindus are the criminals behind all incidents. There is no mention of Hindu killings whatsoever, not much is verified by evidence.
- * His article Anti-Christian violence in India starts off with "In India anti-Christian violence is widespread." There is no neutrality in his work.
- *Look at his addition to the Human rights in India page [3] for the Communal Violence section: "Conversion in India has become hard Due to anti conversion laws which were made by hindu nationalist and extremists. To propogate ones religion other that Hinduism and sikhism is an activity which could cause Death as most citizens and many government officials are always 'conspiring to kill' as tha free press of india states" with no sources whatsoever. This is soo pov and irrelevant "
I hope you can teach the user to verify all claims that he makes like the one stated above. Nikkul (talk) 18:05, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- On which basis Nikkul is claiming 'this user has made it seem like Hindus are the criminals behind all incidents'? The sentence user Nikkul is showing "Conversion in India has become hard Due to anti conversion laws which were made by hindu nationalist and extremists. To propogate ones religion other that Hinduism and sikhism is an activity which could cause Death as most citizens and many government officials are always 'conspiring to kill'" is not added by me, but by IP user 122.169.51.217 See this link [4]. How Nikkul can make such false claim? Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 18:19, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
For NPA complaints, I see that there is already a thread at WP:AN/I. For things about then article, can you guys please discuss this at the article talk page? Thanks. --Ragib (talk) 18:27, 29 November 2007 (UTC)

Let's Collaborate on Sunderbans and Cox's Bazar
Hello! Please note Sunderbans and Cox's Bazar have been selected as the current WikiProject Bangladesh collaboration topics. As you may be aware that these two are currently candidates for natural wonders of the world, it is extremely important to ensure that the Wikipedia articles on these topics make a clear and complete reflection of these topics. Any contribution that you can make to these topics is very welcome. Arman (Talk) 03:32, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
Kuakata
I sincerely believe Pairadox was right. I have posted a comment on the talk page to that end quite a while back (which lies unaddressed). It looks perfectly like a hearsay, as there is no evidence of this being the "only" beach to have that feature (naturally any south facing beach would have that). Looks like a perfectly non-notable piece of irrelevant information produced out of misplaced zeal. I remember Ocatvio Paz laughing at such Third World attempts at fabricating national points of pride (can't remember which book it was right now). Aditya(talk • contribs) 17:42, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
