Vrben is a village near city of Gostivar, Macedonia. It is found in the Municipality of Mavrovo and Rostuša at altitude of 1610 m. It has population of 142.
According to the 2002 census, the village's population is consisted of 137 Macedonians and 5 Albanians. Famous people originating from Vrben include Paskal Sotirovski, world-recognized astrophysicist, and Selvije Saliu, politician.[1] [2] The orthodox church "Sv. Petka" is the most important community institution in the village.
