Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Darren Shan into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Doug Weller (talk) 15:07, 23 August 2015 (UTC)
In any case, that material is already in Shan's artice and I've redirected it there. Doug Weller (talk) 15:08, 23 August 2015 (UTC)

Ricky Martin sales
What Forbes can say about worldwide sales?! They don't have how calculate the sales around the world, they understand about money, not record sales. The certifications and official charts are the most reliable criteria to know the success or failure of an album. All important articles about music here in Wikipedia stopped use inflated sales created by fans and used in other websites and base the sales by the certifications and peak positions. For exemple the album Thriller by Michael Jackson, there arr a lot of sites that said that this album sold 100 million copies worldwide, but that's pretty innacurate, you can see in the talk of this album, the consensus to put Thriller as a 60 million copies sold record. Use the talk of the Ricky Martin article, there are a lot of people that agree with me. 88marcus (talk) 08:52, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
- @88marcus: money is based on sales and actually Forbes doesn't share false data, it is reliable and of course there is sth that they know!! I'm not talking about fans and other websites, I'm talking about a refrence. That is the most important thing! And about the charts and certifications, we do not have any data for many of countries and for many of his newer albums, so when we do not have any data, we use another trustable refrence!! It is clear and doesn't need discussion or examples! آرمین هویدایی (talk) 09:03, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, you're talknig about your opinion. Not everything that appeared in Internet is true. We have to be accurate in his article, there are much more sites that says he sold 70kk records too. The international acts sold most of his records in USA and Europe, and almost all of this countries have an updated data for albums and singles certifications. This is completely nonsense. Most of his albums didn't even sold 1 million copies worldwide and he has 30kk with certified sales (albums+videos+singles). It's the more accurate to put there. As I said, there are plenty of websites that says 70kk too, even the website of his record company Sony Latin. I'll revert your edition soon.--88marcus (talk) 23:46, 29 January 2019 (UTC)
- @88marcus: Ok, so when the refrences are not the same and we cannot rely on them, some are old, some are inflated, some are incomplete and etc. So we should simply remove this sentence & it's really the best choice that we can have. As there wasn't anything about his sales in his article just until a few weeks ago,it seems that it is not necessary. So I'm going to remove it and we can finish the duscussion. I hope you agree. آرمین هویدایی (talk) 06:58, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
- You keep saying that the references are too old. The 70 million records sold is already inflated and cover his sales till today. The reference of 70 million records is from 4 years ago. Do you really think that he sold thousands of copies since than, to change his sales to 80 millions or 85 millions?! I'll revert you edition soon. There are many articles from 2018, that say 70 million records worldwide. You seem don't know how charts and sales work. I think you should see sites like Ukmix, and Chartmasters where fans give their datas from reliable sources and don't inflated them.--88marcus (talk) 16:40, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
Image without license
Unspecified source/license for File:Sexy and I Know It (Glee Cast Version).jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Sexy and I Know It (Glee Cast Version).jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (Talk • Contribs • Owner) 10:45, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
File source problem with File:Sexy and I Know It (Glee Cast Version).jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Sexy and I Know It (Glee Cast Version).jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —IB [ Poke ] 11:40, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Orphaned non-free image File:La Isla Bonita (Glee Cast Version).jpg
Thanks for uploading File:La Isla Bonita (Glee Cast Version).jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:37, 14 March 2019 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:PedroCapóAlbum.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:PedroCapóAlbum.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Vuelve (album) US sales
The RIAA certifications before February 2016 are based shipments, not sales. The RIAA's definition of "sales" are units sold to retail stores, not consumers, hence the term "shipments". Anything certification after February 2016 are for album-equivalent units Nielsen SoundScan is the company that focuses on actual sales. Do you understand now? Erick (talk) 11:10, 11 June 2019 (UTC)

Fuego y Amor moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Fuego y Amor, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. — Newslinger talk 04:42, 12 July 2019 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Ozuna (singer). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Beastranger (talk) 05:45, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Beastranger: Check article's talk. I've explained about the "awards" part. If you read it, then I will tell about the top of the article. آرمین هویدایی (talk)
- @Beastranger: Thanks for your contribution, please check article's talk again. I explained about the first part of the arricle. If you're ok with that, I will edit it. If no, at least I should make it updated. But really those information should not included there. I will try to find more important things such as his record sales and etc. to make it a better scope. آرمین هویدایی (talk)
- I see that you split the articles content from the source page to a new page. You have performed a bold split but kindly add Templates to the talk pages of both the pages to indicate the split you have performed to avoid the confusion. Also specify the edits you performed briefly in the edit summary of the article or you may be warned by experienced users when deleting huge amounts without edit summary as specified in Edit summary. Ricky Martin inflated sales
Hi آرمین هویدایی,
Since last year I tried many times to explain to you that 85 million albums sold for Ricky Martin is completely inflated and you keep including that number in his article again. I don't see other way to solve that besides to communicate an administrator for your disruptive edits, see here:

I don't understand why you disagree with the 60 million sold and reverted my edition, since you said to Chrisonduras "Ok so let's do that, but please convince Marcus 88. I don't want to discuss anymore and don't want a drama." I thought you agreed with that. And what about the sales of Fiebre did you saw that it was certified platinum (Latin/0,06) as I told you?--88marcus (talk) 22:10, 16 February 2020 (UTC)
@88marcus: First of all thanks... Well I compare him with other latin artists such as Enrique Iglesias. I checked Billboard, and you can see he had 40 million total album sales and 8.8 million albums in the US till 2008: https://www.billboard.com/articles/news/1045954/ask-billboard But Ricky had 10.97 album sales in the US in early 2011. https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/473334/ask-billboard-what-the-forget-is-going-on?page=0%2C1 (unfortunately the site has broken now 😐 but I can even send you a screenshot if you want and also can search its phrase: Martin's career US album sales stand at 10,972,000, according to soundscan.) Whatever, I mean his sales at least in the US was more than Enrique Iglesias till 2010. What's happened that he became 100 million records (and you know even his fans tryna tell 180m!) But Ricky is still 60m?!! They were both Latin artists from 90s. Ok Enrique had a better function last decade in total, but the difference is not that much! Probably Enrique's sales are inflated too, but at least achiving 10 million record sales for about 12 years is acceptable. Even for a 90s latin artist. He had sold 60m in last decades. 10 million just for this decade is not too much, I know he's no more as successful as he was in the 90s. But nowadays digital sellings and streams made it easier to sell higher and higher. 10 million records is not much for 2010s decade, even for "a 90s latin artist" Even the song "Livin' la Vida Loca" is still selling a lot and had been in the Latin Pop Digital Song Sales for about 250 weeks. I know they are not too much, but his total career sales in a decade can really be 10 million and I think you can agree with me that it really seems accurate... آرمین هویدایی (talk) 22:44, 16 February 2020 (UTC)
And about Fiebre, it was a million for a few weeks ago that I checked. That's why it was also written in its certifications, but probably RIAA has changed it now. I'm sorry for that, I just said what I remembered from my last visits, but now I checked it and you're right. But even with this situation we both know that Vente Pa' Ca sales are more which is not even certified as Latin Gold for 30k. Less than "No Se Me Quita"? No Se Me Quita didn't even enter the Hot Latin Songs and only peaked 19 on Latin Digital Song Sales Chart for one week. It has a platinum. But Vente Pa' Ca which debuted at No. 1 on Latin Digital Song Sales doesn't even have a gold?! It's obvious that his label didn't pay RIAA.
Anyway, I'm going to sleep now. Good night. I'm happy that we arr finally agreed :)♡ آرمین هویدایی (talk) 22:53, 16 February 2020 (UTC)
- @88marcus: I agree with you, I'm trying to found a source for 60 million claim to Enrique Iglesias but it's not easy to found a new one.
Those are claims of his 40 million sold:
And his certifications to date around 45 million certified sales: link
As I said I'm trying to found a relieble source for 60 million or even 70 million as long as I get one I'll include in his article.--88marcus (talk) 23:08, 16 February 2020 (UTC)
- I thought Ricky Martin's sales would be 60 million. The most acceptable range than 50+ or -80/85. Anyway personally I don't will touch that topic and for both 88marcus and آرمین هویدایی about Enrique's sales concern, maybe a Spanish references could help. I found 70 million / + in a range of 2012-2014 sources, or 60 million/+ in a range of 2014-2015 sources. --Chrishonduras (talk) 13:36, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
- Changed Iglesias sales to 70 million, soon his fans will complain...--88marcus (talk) 21:55, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
Non-free rationale for File:No Importa la Distancia.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:No Importa la Distancia.jpg.
Recent edit reversion
In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.
I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.S Philbrick(Talk) 11:50, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Sphilbrick: Well I don't understand why it was a violation of copyright policies! There are thousands of articles about music in wikipedia which use Billboard articles for "Background" and "Critics" parts and we cite it as the source. I don't understand what was the problem with my edits that were reverted totally. Both links had problems?! آرمین هویدایی (talk) 12:15, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

- @Diannaa: Hi, I'm sorry but I had copied that content from another Wikipedia article. (Ricky Martin) and as you said in your previous message, I just re-used that and I also mentioned that in my edit summary... Here you can see the section that I copied: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ricky_Martin#2003–2006:_Almas_del_Silencio
Anyways I'm so sorry and I didn't mean to violate copyright policies. I just didn't know that part of that article has this issue, as it exists there for years and even before I became a Wikipedia user. آرمین هویدایی (talk) 08:07, 1 February 2021 (UTC)

- It is very good to see a user posting a message like this as soon as the review has been opened by me and yes, issues have been found indeed and the initial ones have been arisen now! You can start addressing them today if you want even though I have only covered a small part of the article; how're things in Iran though? --K. Peake 21:57, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Kyle Peake: Thank you. I will start fixing the issues now; Fine, as regular. (:

- Nice reworking on the infobox and lead; you only missed the target on Song of the Year, mention of the Spotify promo, also I would further suggesting mention the remix's music video in the lead. --K. Peake 12:30, 27 February 2021 (UTC)

Excuse me, I don't understand this phrase: "[8] should be after [7] as well as in its current place". Can you please explain? I'm so sorry.
- It means that as well as the sentence that ref 8 is currently at the end of, it should also be invoked after ref 7 in the previous sentence – this is because [8] backs up part of that sentence too. --K. Peake 16:51, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Kyle Peake: thank you so much. آرمین هویدایی (talk) 17:19, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Kyle Peake: Sorry, I had another question. Should I write the peak positions of all of his Top 10s or just write: It peaked in the Top 10 of Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica,...
And if I should write each peak position, do I have to mention that for example "this is Martin's fifth top 10 in the country" or it's not necessary? Because actually there is almost no available data about his classic songs chart performances. (Most of Monitor Latino charts were published between 2016-2018, while there is no data about these countries' former charts. We only have the data for songs "The Cup of Life" and "Vuelve" among his 90s and 2000s hits and even these two songs chart performances are not complete neither.)
- No, you do not have to write the exact positions; just put "It also peaked in the top 10 of..." then write out the countries that weren't listed in the previous sentence(s), also I would advise to probably place refs after every comma to avoid them becoming cluttered and you've done a great job so far going through all of my comments; even if taking a while, you are going into detail which is awesome! --K. Peake 21:52, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Kyle Peake: Ok, thanks. I will add them now; And thank you so much for reviewing this and telling me my mistakes. And please accept my apologies because of too many mistakes. This is my first time that I nominated an article, besides as I'm not a native speaker, I had too many grammer issues. Sorry for that.آرمین هویدایی (talk) 12:32, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- @Kyle Peake: Hi, about "where does it mention the radio release?", as far as I know, Los 40 is one of the main musical radio stations in many Spanish-speaking countries. That's why I used it as a source for radio release. While, if I'm wrong or you suggest me to remove this, I will obey.آرمین هویدایی (talk) 12:32, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
- I did not know that since I am not familiar with their radio stations, so now you have explained the issue is no more because it was a misunderstanding. Also, remember to sign your posts off like this --K. Peake 12:25, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
