Fred C. Patton (born March 3, 1974) is an American politician who represents the 50th District in the Kansas House of Representatives. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in November 2014.[1] Patton currently serves as the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.[2] He previously served as chairman of the House K-12 Budget Committee and vice-chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.[3]
Patton also serves on the Seaman U.S.D. 345 Board of Education.[4] He was first elected to the school board in 2003. He has served five terms as president of the board. Patton served as president of the Kansas Association of School Boards from 2010 to 2012.[5]
Patton has been married to Kim Patton, a library media specialist at North Fairview Elementary School, since 1997. They live in Topeka, Kansas with their three children, Zachary (age 20), Andrew (age 18) and Emily (age 13).[6]
