Fixed the version listing so the Russian reads 1.01 and the International reads 1.503; this was entered in correctly orginally. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.60.168.15 (talk) 13:01, 9 September 2008 (UTC)<!-- Template:UnsignedIP --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot--> |

Removal of "Bug Reports"
I think the Bug Report section needs to be removed. It appears a bit opinionated and biased and looks like it's been written by an angry customer.
The majority of gamers actually haven't experienced many bugs and are playing the game, it is the minority that are unable to play who are posting on the forums. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.60.168.15 (talk) 13:05, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
- This game is a buggy POS,i pre-ordered this, running on quad core machine with 4Gb of DDR2 1024Mz RAM and it has CtD a bit through the whole game. I've had to restart twice because i broke the AI by doing things in a strange order. Now half way through (i think) and can't get anywhere because ALL my Savegames CtD. Do Not Buy This Game.(Hypnosadist) 01:07, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- Patch v1.5.04 is now out for the international edition, slight problem that it renders ALL SAVES USELESS, Thanks crappy programers one and all. Now i get the joy of playing the early levels for a forth time (if i bother). Do Not Buy This Game. (Hypnosadist) 01:37, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- Applied the patch and had my first CtD in less than 1 hour of gameplay. 'Do Not Buy This Game (Hypnosadist) 02:29, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
I didn't think they could make a game that crashes more and has more problems than the first one. And they did. It fucking sucks so far.
- Cheers for the opinions people. I've just ordered it :thumb:--Koncorde (talk) 00:34, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
- And 1 crash aside, no issues. --Koncorde (talk) 00:38, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Who put "Lebiediew"?
In the game his name is lebedev —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.77.241.70 (talk) 18:10, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
- Lebedev is an anglicised version of Lebiediew, and features in English language versions of the game. Lebiediew preserves the pronunciation of the Cyrillic original. --81.159.161.115 (talk) 08:30, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- I realize this is an ancient talk thread, but I have the US Steam version of the game and currently his name is spelled "Lebedev". -- Y|yukichigai (ramble argue check) 18:31, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
Removal of Escapist Magazine review from 'reception' section
Why should we have Ben Yahtzee's 'review' included? It is well known that he doesn't so much rate games as he does point out all the perceived and often grossly opinionated flaws in a comical manner. But I would hardly ever take his reviews as even close to reliable. I don't recall a single game he's actually praised, save Portal. His 'reviews' are more a parody on actual reviews, than reliable reviews themselves.
Please don't include his reviews in any articles. While I personally find his pseudo-reviews to be funny at times, it's more of a comedy routine than an actual review of the games ups and downs, and anyone who has seen his many rants would quickly realize this. 71.229.69.68 (talk) 10:32, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
the games biggest flaws are the same that in soc, in other words, the endgame isn't finished(scripting/gametesting/plotwise), as such a review that points that out should be included.
Chronolgy of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series
If S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky is the "prequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl" why is its release date in the subsequent year? I don't know these games at all, so am reluctant to amend the wording or dates myself. Perhaps I've missed something! trevj (talk) 11:59, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
- Not really familiar with the games either, but surely the release date has nothing do to with it? It's not uncommon for prequels to be made after the game that follows it plot wise. But even with my limited knowledge of the game, from the plot I can see it's defiantly a prequel. Plus there are plenty of sources to support it. Яehevkor ✉ 12:11, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
- Makes perfect sense when explained like that! Thanks. -- Trevj (talk) 22:46, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
Wikiproject Video games assessment
I have kept the article at Start class for the moment. Unfortunately it's too poorly sourced for its length to promote. It also has similar issues to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. Please check in at Talk:S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl#Wikiproject: Video games assessment as many of those issues also apply here. --Teancum (talk) 13:36, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
Lead Section
I added additional information to the lead section of the article. Provided a brief summary of the plot, information about the map & new areas, and new gameplay features. I also corrected the spelling of Lebedev in several locations of the Plot section. --SDRobots (talk) 17:56, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
