Østerdalen or Østerdal is a valley and traditional district in the eastern part of Norway, consisting of the municipalities Rendalen, Alvdal, Folldal, Tynset, Engerdal, Tolga and Os in the north, Elverum, Stor-Elvdal, Trysil and Åmot in the south.
