Croxton is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Northcote, on the Epping railway line. Croxton is unmanned and is in Metcard Zone 1.

Facilities

Croxton is located between Spencer Street and Stott Street, with station access from both.

The station consists of two side platforms: Platform 1 (Flinders Street bound) has a large brick building, while platform 2 (Epping bound) has a smaller brick building. A large Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 1, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. A small coin-only Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 2.

Tram routes 86 and 112 are both a short walk from the station, on High Street and St. Georges Road respectively.

Croxton station opened on October 8, 1889.[1] It is one of only three stations on the electrified Melbourne network to have an 'x' in its name (the others being Box Hill and Roxburgh Park).
