Perundurai taluk is a taluk of Erode district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The headquarters of the taluk is the town of Perundurai
Population
According to the 2001 census, the taluk of Perundurai had a population of 326,782 with 165,959 males and 160,823 females. There were 969 women for every 1000 men. The taluk had a literacy rate of 64.77. The total number of households was 89,763.
