Hey Mel. How are things? Would you mind having a look at the Hun page and what someone at 65.165.173.1 is doing to it? May I ask what can be done? Thanks. [[User:Lao Wai|Lao Wai]] 17:35, 12 January 2006 (UTC) |

Hi Mel Etitis, |
|||
I'm not sure about the protocol of getting in touch with you but I want to ask a favour. |
|||
You've an entry on Feuillet dance notation that contains a brief example. |
|||
I'd very much like to know what the exact translation of this exerpt is in terms of the various symbols and their arrangements. |
|||
The reason is that I'm a member of a group interested in Diagrams of various sorts and we are collecting together a set of examples to show diverse and unusual ways in which this form of information is used. The diagram on your entry would be great, particularly because of its 'fluid' character (a contrast with many other types of diagram) as well as its historical aspect. |
|||
I'd like to be able to make a contribution to this project with a simple example that is readily understood by my colleagues. Naturally I'd give attribution to the source (it's one of the requirements of our project). |
|||
If you felt you were able to send me an annotated version with the various components etc. having suitable explanatory labels, I'd be most grateful. |
|||
Regards |

IP address vandalism
My talk page is being repeatedly vandalised by an unknown user from this IP: 67.155.41.98 This IP has a history of vandalism according to the records. Can something be done? Thanks. TruthCrusader
- Contrary to your uninformed claims in your edit summaries, it's not an "SLC IP" (in fact, it is owned by a subsidiary of XO Communications based in Herndon VA), and a quick search of Google reveals that the IP in question is hosting an open proxy at port 8080. Please do your own homework next time. - Chadbryant 01:31, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
- Contrary to Chad Bryant's claims, he is indeed the one behind the IP. It's obvious to anyone familiar with Chad's behavior from rec.sport.pro-wrestling. Ghostly Presence 01:44, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
Wow
Thank you for halting your actions on deleting articles on music singles that have yet to be released. It seems you've finally acknowledged the fact that the fans will be the first to attain the information on what is the next release and what isn't. Good improvement! --DrippingInk 14:52, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
Kumdo problem (again)
Sorry to bother you again about a page as relatively unimportant as Kumdo, but there is an anonomous user, 218.123.46.40, who obstinately insists on repeatedly posting his extreme POV (4th time under this I.D., but may be the same person as Yappakoredesho) to the page in spite of the fact that several reasonable people who watch the page consistently revert his edits and have even made concessions to acknowledge a more neutral and factual version of his POV. It may be time for him to be blocked (or whatever the appropriate sanction would be). BTW, he is also a contributor to Samurang, with such gems as: "The "martial art of Korea" is an absolute lie." Your attention to this matter would be appreciated. Thanks. -DoctorW 21:09, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
Hello, again.
Hello, Again. This is Michael 04:23, 16 December 2005 (UTC). Listen, I would like know something; what is the problem with Catherine_Bell_200101233d_hr.jpg, and Sr-71.jpg? They don't show up in my watchlist. And neither have been deleted yet. Please Advise. Michael 04:23, 16 December 2005 (UTC).
Thanks, and Merry Christmas.
TfD: Album Infobox 2
Given the overwhelming numbers involved, I thought it was appropriate to put this back up for deletion [1]. I hope it will go through uneventfully and the article cleanup can be finished up quickly. Monicasdude 20:40, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
Dire state of Philosophy page
Have you seen what is going on there? It's a crime against writing. I gave my two cents, but clearly there's a well-organised group of nonsense writers. E.g. philosophers now "develop methods of thinking, including logic, introspection, and meditation". Hmmm. Dbuckner 17:40, 17 December 2005 (UTC) Happy Winter Festival.

Mel, can you check Steadman's talk page - I'm no fan of the man but someone is being a bit sick.Crusading composer 22:49, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi Mel, please help
I would like to request your help with serious NPOV and verifiability problems on the Arabic numerals page. I have mentioned it, yet again, here Wikipedia:Wikiquette_alerts#December_17. Please help me recruit as many neutral and well-intending editors to the page to counter the strong and manifest bias. Regards, and thanks. csssclll (14:43, 17 December 2005 (UTC))
I noticed you moved SSX On Tour to SSX on Tour. Why did you do that? It's official name has a capital "O". If you visit the external links on that article you'll see they have the name as SSX On Tour. If you are going to reply please get back to me on my talk page. Thanks. --Thorpe 22:00, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
Sturmgrenadier AfD notice
Mel, I'm dropping you this note, as the article for Sturmgrenadier met with Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sturmgrenadier, repeating the prior VfD. I would appreciate your input on the article and comments on the AfD page, whether you see fit to retain it or delete it. --Habap 15:42, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
Big diff
Hi! On your user page, under "My attitudes to Wikipedia" -> "Voting in general", there is a link to a very long diff page, a diff between March 1, 2005 and current revision of WP:Requested moves. Is this what you meant? Just FYI, /skagedal[talk] 10:45, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

Hollow Wilerding and Winnermario
This will probably interest you. Bishonen | talk 11:28, 1 January 2006 (UTC).
- Interest him? It probably will, though the evidence provided is nothing more than nonsense. User:Mel Etitis, I have to apologize to you. You are a good contributer, and have very good English, but remember that it will never be perfect. Mine won't be either. Keep up the good work, and good luck with whatever you do at the university of yours. :)
- Just remember, when you assumed we were sock puppets, you weren't quite right. We're just friends who access the same computer. You were close, but not quite right. —Hollow Wilerding . . . (talk) 16:02, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
Chadbryants vandals
Hi there Mel Etitis. There are two things that I want to discuss about to you in regards of the Chadbryant's vandals page.
1) Can I add a lot of new vandal accounts from vandals at Chadbryants page because there has been a string of at least 12 new vandal accounts from there.
2) Shouldn't the Chadbryant's vandals page be moved to Chadbryant's user talk space instead of yours. Just a suggestion. SWD316 talk to me 00:49, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
help needed
hallo, would please have a look at this site Talk:Panathinaikos. user komparos is insulting me there (once more) on a very heavy way and i don´t think that i have to accept this. wikipedia stand for some values and this isn#t one of them. thank you --Galis 16:29, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

help about Britney's discography
User:Triggy just deleted half of the discography, including the Singles chart box. I found it very unnecessary just to delete half of the topic because all discographies have singles chart box and album pics. The singles chart box and the other infos should remained there. I keep putting back in it's original version but he keeps reverting the page and I don't think I could stop him.
This is triggy's version of the discography: [2]
and this is version that should be use: [3]
Could you help me, I want the topic to be back at it's original version not the version of triggy. It have more informations than his version, he just do whatever he wants, without knowing that his edits are useless and unreasonable. Thanks--Hotwiki 12:15, 5 January 2006 (UTC)

- Hi, Mel. I guess you must have missed the recent Winnermario/Hollow Wilerding debacle? This isn't something you need to do anything about — don't worry — but you might be interested to see what a powder keg your spark (long since archived) at the top of User talk:Hollow Wilerding lit. Requests for adminship/Hollow Wilerding and Requests for comment/Bishonen demonstrate it, and this is the first of a wealth of WP:AN/I threads on the subject. Welcome back!
