Capital Repertory Theatre (Capital Rep) is a 287-seat professional regional theatre in Albany, New York. Capital Rep is the only theatre in the Capital District in the League of Resident Theatres (LORT). The theatre operates under regulations dictated by Actors' Equity Association. The theatre is located at 111 N. Pearl St in Albany, New York.

The Producing Artistic Director of Capital Rep is Maggie Mancinelli-Cahill.

Mission

According to the website, the mission of Capital Rep is "to create a meaningful theatre generated from an authentic link to the community."

Notable Actors

Fred Rose, a Broadway veteran, has done several shows with Capital Rep, including performing as Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady in the 2009-10 season.
