Consett railway station was a railway station on the Stanhope and Tyne Railway, in County Durham, Northern England.

Opened on 17 August 1896 by the North Eastern Railway, it became part of the London and North Eastern Railway during the Grouping of 1923. The station then passed on to the Eastern Region of British Railways on nationalisation in 1948.

It was closed to passengers by British Railways Board on 23 May 1955, and to all traffic on the 2 October 1967. The last passenger train called on 17 March 1984, after which the tracks were lifted and station demolished.

Today the site and the station approaches have been lost under the rebuilt A692 road.
