Adopt-a-user

Hi, Missionedit! My name is Brambleberry of RiverClan, and I noticed that you were looking for someone to adopt you through the Adopt-a-user program. It's your lucky day! I am an experienced user and adopter and would like to take you under my wing. Please respond on my talk page if you are interested and I will set up your adoption classroom. öBrambleberry of RiverClan 22:21, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

Adoption classroom

As part of the adoption process, I like to provide my adoptees with classrooms where everything gets asked and answered. Your particular classroom is at User:Brambleberry of RiverClan/Adoption/Missionedit. I recommend that you add it to your watchlist.

If you don't know how to add something to your watchlist, it's simple. There should be a hollow star on the same line that the "Read" and "Edit" tabs are. It will either be right after the heart or, if you don't have the heart, right after "View history". If you click that star, it will turn blue and a little notification will come up. Then if you go to "Watchlist" above that, you can see the last edit made. öBrambleberry of RiverClan 20:50, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

General Theory of Everything/DNA speed through time

General Theory of Everything

The variable speed at which the DNA spiral travels through time and space results in several different effects:

a) Acceleration of gravity is proportionally slower from our point of view and presents a weakened force when compared to the rest of the lifeless universe. The diminished gravity experienced in water may be the reason behind the start of this process. Life is a watery business.

b) Galaxies, seeming to accelerate away from each other at the outer edges of space, don’t, it’s just that time is running slower for us compared to them.

c) We can actually see other planets with DNA cruising at the same rate and they appear to be dark, as light cannot travel through the shared timelines between us. It’s not slow enough. They look like black holes.

d) Approximately one sixth of the entire mass of the universe runs at our rate through time. The rest of it appears to be invisible as it runs at a faster rate and is commonly called dark matter.

e) Evolution. It is inevitable that creation should eventually come up with a being that is self-aware.

Conclusion As we can only see a sixth of the universe’s matter, we presumably get a sixth of the general gravity; chiefly because we spend a sixth of time in general space. I suppose it was always going to be that number.

Dear Anastasia, If you receive this theory could you get back to me on my talk page, I am completely new to how the encyclopaedia works and am having doubts. Kind regards, Michael David Howells (talk) 04:06, 15 March 2013 (UTC)

Dear Anastasia, Thank you very much for getting back to me and having read my nonsensical (I think you mean) theory. I suppose it is a bit different. I'll forget about it now for a while, anyway, I'm in rehearsal soon for 'Harvey' and I've got the 'Elwood' part, which is a lot of responsibility. I suppose I just wanted to get it across to someone for the record. If it is correct, of course, which is highly unlikely, then at least I tried at the time I had the idea. As it was for me a slightly religious journey on this one, with the three sixes, I hope that I can feel more peaceful now, having delivered it. Anastasia, if you happen to come across any scientific types and you think my theory would amuse them please do not hesitate to pass it on. Unless you think it's complete garbage, in which case, forget about it. Kind regards, signing off, Michael David Howells (talk) 07:44, 16 March 2013 (UTC)

Thank you!

GOCE Requests

Hi Missionedit. Thanks for helping out at the Guild of Copy Editors. When you finish a GOCE request, the thing to do is to mark it {{done}} in the line below where you marked it {{working}} before. A coordinator will come along and arhcive the request and delete it then. Please don't just delete the request yourself, as it makes it harder to archive, and we may even overlook it. Cheers, --Stfg (talk) 20:36, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

Sorry Stfg, I didn't know that. Well, you live and learn. Am I suppose to do something about it?
No thanks, nothing more to do. No need to apologize, I just wanted to let you know how we do it, for future reference. Keep well, --Stfg (talk) 20:43, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

A7

Possibly the most misunderstood category at Speedy Deletion... A7 is for lack of significance, but the things that can be speedied under it are limited. Basically, it's people (King Johannes the Idiot of Upper Slobodia) and groups of people (The Church of the Invisible Hamster). Then there are named animals (Gertie the Dancing Ocelot). And web content (dancingocelot.com). And since just recently, we've added organised events (The Festival of the Dancing Ocelot). Note that Churches are not always churches. There are groups of people called churches, and buildings called churches. People, yes, A7 is OK. Buildings, no. Also, while dancingocelot.com is subject to A7, the file dancingocelot.gif that you can download from there isn't. (Actually, as I've made it all up, you can't anyway...) OK? Confused? Don't blame you. With churches, if the church has arms and legs, it's A7. If it's got a door and a roof, it's not A7. Don't be afraid to ask if you don't understand or do think we're being silly. Peridon (talk) 20:58, 19 March 2013 (UTC)

You had tagged Sør-Fron Church under the speedy criterion A7 - but it's a building type of church not a group of people type of church. For example, the Roman Catholic Church is a group of people, but St Peter's Basilica (which is a church) is a building. Churches that are groups of people can come under A7, but churches that are bricks and mortar can't. I was illustrating what could and couldn't be tagged A7 (lack of significance) with made-up examples so as not to offend any real people (or ocelots). Peridon (talk) 09:00, 20 March 2013 (UTC)

John Mason Clarke

Hi.

Please clarify why you tagged the John Mason Clarke article as you did? It is a brief article and already has sections. Praemonitus (talk) 02:00, 20 March 2013 (UTC)

John Mason Clarke is no doubt a very good article. I just thought that the "Biography" part could be divided into smaller sections to make it more accessible. Do you disagree? ~ Anastasia (talk) 02:09, 20 March 2013 (UTC)
My sense of the guidance from WP:BODY is that short sections are generally discouraged. As there are only four paragraphs in the Biography section, I don't feel that further sub-division would be beneficial in this regard. Once the article is expanded further, additional sections will then be needed. Praemonitus (talk) 02:13, 20 March 2013 (UTC)

Much Appreciated!!!

Thanks Missionedit, although I like your other name better!! I'm glad that I'm a part of the Teahouse and thank you for the badge you have me!!! Hope we get to discuss lot more things!!! Thank you once again!! The Wikimon (talk) 02:54, 20 March 2013 (UTC)

Dev Ross

Anastasia, Thanks for reviewing my article on Dev Ross. Please also see my talk page on why this article is not copyright. I wrote the IMDb page AFTER I wrote '[The Rocks]' Wiki Page so I can link everything together. Ms. Ross is an award winning writer already referenced for her work throughout Wiki. She just does not have her own page. I am still in the process of creating the page and this is just the stub. Please read my talk page for more info. I truly appreciate the work you do to keep up the integrity of Wiki! It's why I do what I do to supply information that is accurate. Many blessings. to you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Smacorder (talkcontribs) 21:34, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
