Sweethearts is a music group founded in the City of Geelong, Australia in 1989[1][2][3] who play new soul – a fusion of styles based around classic soul and Motown. They are truly unique being the only school based band in the world that plays exclusively in professional settings, having toured the world[4] and playing concerts at big music festivals.

In mid-year of 2013 they were the subject of a multi-part documentary on the Australian ABC television[5][6][7] and have had considerable air play on Australian national radio network triple J[8] with "Ten Foot Tall".[9]
