== SSSN FAR nomination ==

Hi Taylor - I have placed your FAR nomination of [[She Shoulda Said No!]] on hold. The first step in a FAR nomination is a notification on the article talk page that you see problems with the article's quality that could lead to its removal as a featured article. This notification must be given far enough in advance of the FAR that interested editors have time to read it and respond, if they wish. This is more than the 8 minutes that elapsed between your talk page notification and your initiation of the FAR. Due to this, I have placed the FAR nomination on hold until the proper time period has elapsed. Thank you, and please let me know if you have any questions, [[User:Dana boomer|Dana boomer]] ([[User talk:Dana boomer|talk]]) 22:07, 14 September 2013 (UTC)

Agreed fully with your assessment at AFD and went to work. I was able to build upon your contributions and improved the article quite a bit. Might you consider upping your support from "weak"? Best, Schmidt, Michael Q. 07:44, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

What a Brilliant Idea Barnstar
To Taylor Trescott for putting together the Jimmy Neutron (franchise) article as an answer to questions and comments at a related AFD. Building content is the way to go. Nice job. Schmidt, Michael Q. 17:09, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

Deaths in 2013

I'll reply to your comment on my talk page here because I have a dynamic IP address and it could change without warning. You said: "We don't remove names from the list until one month has passed." But that is not true. If someone were to add to the list, for example, the death of their next door neighbour, it would be removed right away because the list is not supposed to include every death that happens, just the deaths of notable people. If a person dies who is notable enough to have a Wikipedia page, but does not yet have one, they can be included on the list for a month in order to encourage people to create such a page. If it is not clear whether or not a person is notable enough to have a page, they can be listed as well (and the question of their notability will be settled only if a page is created for them and someone nominates it for deletion). But when a person is clearly not notable enough to have a Wilipedia page they don't get to stay on the list for a month. They can be removed immediately. The two I removed fall into that category. One is a bodyguard to the stars no one has ever heard of before he died. The other is a hockey player who has never played in a top professional league or for a national team. They are not notable, just like my next door neighbour and yours. 99.192.72.29 (talk) 22:54, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

The rule is that "Many notable people die before a Wikipedia article is written about them. The regular editors of this page have agreed that a redlink may remain for one month after the death, so that an article may develop. If there is no article after one month, then the death notice is removed from the list." If you wish to challenge it, head to the talk page. (You should probably create an account if your IP is dynamic.) Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 23:33, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
You have not read my comment carefully. The passage you quote refers to people who ARE notable, but die before a Wikipedia article is created for them. I removed the names of people who are NOT notable and, as a result, do not have an article. I do not disagree at all with the rule. 99.192.72.29 (talk) 23:40, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
It is not "if the person is notable, they get to stay, but if they aren't notable, they leave." It never says that. It says that a redlink may remain until after one month. Everybody who tries to remove a redlink gets reverted. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 23:42, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
So if my next door neighbour dies I can add her to the list? I bet you $100 if you ask about that on the "Deaths..." talk page you will find out that that is wrong. Over one hundred thousand of people die every day. The page only lists the clearly notable people (whether red or blue linked) and the possibly notable ones. But not everyone who dies. 99.192.72.29 (talk) 23:49, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
If you want to remove a redlink, get consensus at talkpage. For now, consensus is to let redlinks stay unless the community agrees to ditch them. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 23:50, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
If you believe that consensus is to let ALL red links remain, even if it is my next door neighbour, then you are wrong. I will now go to the talk page there and prove it to you. 99.192.72.29 (talk) 00:03, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
You owe me $100 :-) 99.192.72.29 (talk) 01:34, 9 September 2013 (UTC)

Lost episode / Alfred Hitchcock

Hiya, I noticed your deletion of some info at Lost episode, here and I was curious to know why you deleted it; it wasn't clear to me from your edit summaries. Thanks! Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:33, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

Hi. I happened to see your vote on an article that was nominated for deletion, just one section below another entry which I'm currently opposing. So I randomly decided to kindly ask you and the other two users - only if you want of course - to take a quick look this article. Then, I'd really appreciate it if you could vote either for(delete) or against(keep) its deletion proposal, because I'm convinced that more views are needed there and think yours can be trusted. Thanks in advance, Yambaram (talk) 23:25, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
