Hello Jim

Hi Jim. As you know I am recent changes patroller, monitoring new pages and fighting against vandalism and reporting them on WP:AIV from some time. I am quite fine with this job. Now I want to perform some Admin tasks such as deleting pages, blocking users( Including vandals) and other Admin tasks assuming good faith. I am quite familiar with deletion policy and blocking policy and other important policies regarding admin. FA congratulations again again...

Just a quick note to congratulate you on the promotion of Fulvous Whistling Duck to FA status recently. I know you know all about WP:TFAR and the "pending" list, so this is just a reminder to use them as and when suits you.
You (and your talk-page stalkers) may also be interested to hear that there have been some changes at the TFA requests page recently. Nominators no longer need to calculate how many "points" an article has, the instructions have been simplified, and there's a new nomination system using templates similar to those used for DYK suggestions. Please consider nominating an article, or commenting on an existing nomination, and leaving some feedback on your experience. Thank you.

Uncertainty

Hello Jim,

I noticed you removed my addition to "One for Sorrow". I really don't mean to be rude, but since what I added is a reference in popular culture, I have replaced it. Perhaps you could explain why you removed it? Do I need to add some sort of a cite? The name of the album on which that particular song appears? As I said, I really don't mean to be rude, but I am rather confused.

Hello Jim and thanks again. This was one of Judicaël's students, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Viloteau, who is less notable than Perroy in the world of the classical guitar, has had some of the same teachers as Perroy, has won less competitions, yet has an article about him in Wikipedia. I read it, re-read it and don't find any difference between what I wrote and the article about Viloteau. The "child prodigy" is referenced to the publication "The Classical Guitar: Its evolution, players and personalities since 1800" and to the page in the publication (223) and this is why I left it there. I should have linked Alberto Ponce because he is mentioned elsewhere in Wikipedia but I didn't and it is my mistake. I did not use ANYTHING from Perroy's blog or website or Youtube, and I am not trying to promote him. He is very big in the world of the classical guitar today but I am not even writing this article to prove it. I am not trying to be argumentative but I simply am puzzled by the fact that the French Wikipedia has him, that his student is in the English version with an article that seems to me to be similar, and that even a referenced quote is not acceptable (by the way, the article about Julian Bream has exactly the same quote). Hi Jim: my tone for the piece is no different than the tone for the Viloteau or the Bream pieces. In fact, it is so bland and "factual" (your Adelaide link backs me up on this) that it makes me yawn when I go over it again and again. I thought you could let it pass but maybe I got it wrong. The Councilor: A Journal of the Social Studies

Hi Jim, I'm surprised that you CSDed this article. I had already denied G11 as the article is not written in a promotional way. The rest of your delete rationale was "no independent sources, no evidence of notability", which basically boils down to A7, but academic journals are not A7-eligible. In addition, an AfD was started. It does look like the journal is probably not notable (there's nothing on their website that indicates notability), but the journal has been around for 75 years, so I wouldn't be surprised if there are sources somewhere out there. In any case, if you really think this is promotional, I'm fine with it staying deleted, but then you should close the AfD, too. Cheers. --Randykitty (talk) 06:34, 25 April 2014 (UTC)

Want to restore my edits to Koshari page. I understand you believe that the only thing defined as "Koshari" is "Kushari" but you are inaccurate. Koshari also happens to be the name for a band since 2001. The band definition I posted is NOT copyright material - it is factual information so deleting under that pretense is silly. Is there any way to show two listings for Koshari - your forward to "Kushari" and my paragraph defining the band Koshari?
