recent addition to elephants

There has actually been an ongoing debate on the talk page, where it was decided (for the most part) that additions such as this do not relate to elephants and thus would not be appropriate for the elephant article. If you go into edit mode for the whole article, there's a message at the top about it. I know it's easy to miss if you click on a section edit link. VDN

Hi Omicronpersei8. You reverted my vandalism of the VDN page. I think that is OK, but what I was trying to do was point out the fact that the page is a big ad. I have highlighted the phrases that support that claim in the VDN section. I am not sure how I am supposed to report such a page (though I suppose that vandalism is probably not the way) :-). I have to say, out of all the vandalism I've seen here, yours is some of the most benign. I didn't really consider it vandalism when I saw it -- more like "enhancements gone wrong".

I have reverted his change. You can always fix it when someone vandalizes a page by clicking on the history link at the top, selecting the last good edit, clicking the edit link at the top of that revision's page, and then saving the page over the vandal's version. -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 22:20, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
