Olivier Védrine (born 03 April 1969) is a French political scientist .
Olivier Védrine is one of the very few foreigners having worked in Russia for many years and now residing in Ukraine after leaving Russia where he was the chief editor of the Russian version of the French National Defense Review, in protest for the annexation of Crimea in February 2014.

Olivier Védrine received the Order of Saint Volodymir (Vladimir) the Great from the hand of His Holiness Patriarch Filaret, Patriarchate of Kyiv, an order seldom attributed to a foreigner( in attached file the Ukaze attributing the Order of Saint Volodymyr the Great and the photo of the Order of Saint Volodymyr the Great ). Ilya Vladimirovich Ponomarev (Russian: Илья́ Влади́мирович Пономарёв; born 6 August 1975 in Moscow) is a Russian politician, former member of the State Duma and a technology entrepreneur.
He was the only member of the State Duma to vote against Russia's annexation of Crimea during the 2014 Russian invasion of Ukraine.[2] Ponomaryov lives in exile in Kiev, Ukraine.
