Although there is no confirmed release date for Japan, it is speculated that it is unlikely that the game will be translated and sold in the USA. This is because of a few reasons. The first reason being the fact that none of the previous Tales Of The World games have been released in America. The second being that Eugene ([[Tales Of Rebirth]]) is the only character on the list (as of now) that has not been brought over to the States. Also, bringing Radiant Mythology to the States will bring about licence problems. This is because the English version of [[Tales Of Symphonia]] and [[Tales Of Phantasia]] are licensed by Nintendo, thus raising legal concerns about bringing the characters from Symphonia and Phantasia over to a Sony console.

'Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology' is a spin-off of the Tales of role-playing game series in development for the PlayStation Portable. Like some of the previous games that bear Tales of the World in their title, this game will be a crossover title featuring characters from various Tales games. The theme song for the game is Kamihikōki by Kana Uemura, and the opening song is Uemura's Hikari to Kage.

Story

An ancient kingdom is under assault by demons. As a last resort, the world's life-giving tree uses the last of its power to create a new character- you. As always, the Tales of the World spin-offs add Tales characters from entries in the main installments, but what role they will play in the actual storyline is unknown.

Battle System

The game uses the Flex Range Linear Motion Battle System found in the PlayStation 2 game Tales of the Abyss. This system allows the player character to move freely across the field. Whether Tales of the Abyss's Field of Fonon function makes the transition to this title is unknown.
