Proposed deletion of Khaireni

The article Khaireni has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable place

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The article Charlie Burke has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Please edit my article Teeshay Shah. Please someone attach a valid reference Sohanpandey (talk) 13:56, 14 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Sohanpandey, I have added few references however this article still needs to pass the WP:GNG and addition of references from me should not be taken as validity of the article. It appears to be a borderline case of WP:TOOSOON but I am yet to make up my mind on that and hence I am not taking this page to AfD now. Please improve the article by adding contents. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Your contributed article, Zahir Khan Aghan Cricketer

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Zahir Khan Aghan Cricketer. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Zaheer Khan. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Zaheer Khan – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. rayukk | talk 11:38, 28 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article Zahir Khan Aghan Cricketer has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

Your recent editing history at Pratyusha Banerjee shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Cricket notability

Hi. Thanks for creating articles on missing cricketers, however all cricketers must meet the notability set out at WP:NCRIC. As a minimum they must have played either one first-class, List A or T20 match in a top level and/or league. Being part of a U19 squad and playing in U19 matches is not usually enough to meet the notability criteria. Those cricketers may be notable after the U19 tournament, if they then go on to play in a match listed above/at WP:NCRIC. Please do not create further articles for U19 players who do not meet the notability of WP:NCRIC. If you have any questions, please raise them at the Cricket Project. Thanks. New articles

To be blunt, the new articles you create are of pretty poor quality. Here's some pointers:

  1. Right Hand is not a proper noun. It should be "John Smith is a right-hand batsman", not "John Smith is a Right Hand batsman".
  2. Ditto with wicketkeeper. It's not Wicketkeeper.
  3. It's first-class, not First Class or First-Class.
  4. You rarely put the article into categories. As a minimum they should have year of birth, living people, country and team played for.

I urge you to take care in creating new articles, so others don't have to waste their time cleaning up after you. If you continue to create sub-standard articles, this could be viewed as disruption. Thanks. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 17:54, 4 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. A tag has been placed on Harry Rouse requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Dogodo Bau requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Cut-and-paste move

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Colin Peake (cricketer)) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Colin Peake. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Article quality (or lack of)

Now you've seemingly understood the notability standards for cricketers, you now create sub-standard articles at a rapid rate. Your new article for Clifford Isaacs is quite frankly, a joke. I have previously given you some tips on creating new articles, which you have ignored. Note that competence is required when editing, esp. when you create new articles of living people. In my opinion, your new articles are becoming disruptive, as others have to clean up the mess you're creating. Again, I've already pointed out the link to WP:DE on your talkpage once already. Your recent creations for Simon Lightbody and Ashley Barrow are not much better (basic core categories missing, no wiki-linking in the article, etc). Either create stubs of a good quality, or don't. Consider this a final note, as the next one will likely find you at WP:ANI facing a block for disruption. @SpacemanSpiff: - for info, as you commented on this user's talkpage in one of the sections I've linked to. Blocked for sockpuppetry

Blocked for sockpuppetry

Is there any issue in using multiple accounts on the same device??

I use my Cellphone, sometimes my Wife & bro too use my Cellphone. Is there any issue?? Sohanpandey (talk)

@Bbb23: The editor is contacted OTRS to ask where to appeal this block. I started to respond that they should do so on their talk page but I see they did so for days ago. I don't know any of the details but I hope that discussion can continue.--S Philbrick(Talk) 13:07, 19 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Sphilbrick: He hasn't appealed his block. He left a couple of comments. What makes him think anyone will even notice? The only thing I believe about what he says is that he uses a cellphone to edit Wikipedia. It's funny how his entire family edit the same articles, create the same kinds of poorly written articles, and generally act like a single person. And this isn't the first time he's been blocked for sock puppetry, so apparently his cricket family has suddenly grown.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:14, 19 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I was looking for a response. Thanks for responding.--S Philbrick(Talk) 15:28, 19 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Sphilbrick: Yes, I am using My cellphone. It's bit difficult to edit it that's why The quality of edits were poor.

Another thing is I was not aware of Wikipedia T&C. Sorry for that..... Sohanpandey (talk)

@Sphilbrick: :::@Bbb23:

Hi! Sorry I was not aware of Wikipedia rules.

I have some mistakes in the past as well by creating cricketers who hadn't played senior cricket. ( did it bcz I didn't have any idea of notability).

I will not create a new article from now on. Will just edit the existing article.

I make sure that Only 1 account will be used on my device....
