Welcome
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!
Someone using this IP address, 156.57.214.138, removed content from the page Honolulu without giving an explanation. Please always provide an informative edit summary when removing content from pages. If 156.57.214.138 is a shared IP address and you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username to avoid confusion with other editors and further irrelevant notices.

Here are some other hints and tips:
- I recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}}
here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Peaceray (talk) 14:41, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
Edits to community articles
[edit]Hello. Curious to know why you are making edits such as these: [1] and [2]. Not sure if you have been seeing the edit summaries associated with my recent reverts on similar edits, but edits that solely remove spaces adjacent to pipes in citation templates have no value. The benefit of spaces adjacent to pipes in citation templates is that they provide visual relief in edit mode that increases readability of the citation template content and improves navigation to the parameters that require editing from time to time. Having hundreds of consecutive characters without any spaces is counter to providing visual relief or aiding in navigation in edit mode. Also, you are deleting important cautionary comments in infoboxes associated with population counts. In Canadian community articles, especially those for Alberta, good faith editors often change the latest federal census population counts with subsequent estimates or municipal census counts. See the consensus at WP:CANPOP. These cautionary comments in edit mode help prevent edits contrary to this consensus. Anyway, hope you heed this and understand where I am coming from. Regardless, I wanted to make sure you were receiving a more fulsome explanation of why I am reverting these edits in case for whatever reason you weren’t seeing the edit summaries associated with the reverts. [edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to CKRT-DT, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at CBAFT-DT. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 01:51, 3 July 2020 (UTC)

. Ad Orientem (talk) 01:55, 3 July 2020 (UTC)- If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
