Juan Mata

Well I was really proud of what I did so if I put he got an assist against west ham then would it be accepted. I would put it like this: He got an assist for Marcus Rashford against West Ham in a 3-1 win. 95.149.32.43 (talk) 21:31, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@95.149.32.43: Players get assists all the time. Was there something especially worthy of note about this particular assist? Mattythewhite (talk) 21:33, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

An assist is definitely notable in a players career especially as he only had 2 assists in the league that season and it was considered as one of the assists of the season AND he helped Man United come back from 1 nil down. 31.124.61.117 (talk) 15:58, 27 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@31.124.61.117: If you'd include some of that in the article, namely that it was one of his only assists that season and that it was considered to be one of the 'assists of the season' (with sources supporting those claims, of course), it might have been noteworthy for inclusion, but even then it's touch and go. Re:Jorginho honours

as I wrote "removed double (runner up FA Cup)" that's why — Preceding unsigned comment added by Paranoid Android1208 (talkcontribs) 11:35, 27 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Paranoid Android1208: Consensus at WT:FOOTY is to generally include runners-up in knockout cup competitions. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:36, 27 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Paranoid Android1208: Sorry, I hadn't realised that you removed the content because it was duplicated. I wrongly took "double" to mean that you were removing two entries on the FA Cup line. Mattythewhite (talk) 20:53, 27 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Re: November 2021

Understood, but please be aware that I have not uploaded said picture, and I am very aware of Wikipedia's policy of copyright. I simply searched for Haaland pictures on Wikimedia Commons, found one, and then put in the article.

Sincerely, Sepguilherme (talk) 19:37, 27 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Sepguilherme: I appreciate that you didn't uploaded the file, but what I would advise is that you (or indeed any user) double check the accuracy of the copyright claims of any file on Commons before adding them to a Wikipedia page. It's not uncommon for files like the Haaland one to be uploaded by inexperienced editors who don't understand our copyright policy for them to only be detected as copyvios at a later time.
